Faubourg Fresh Market

I want to start out by saying how much I love this place and what it offers to the city. It's in a beautiful location, great selection of food, wine, beer, and more. The staff is very friendly and this place deserves more recognition. I am enjoying the development of the food menu in the deli section. Also, the rotisserie chicken is seasoned and delicious! However, the reasoning behind my 2 star review is the sandwich section of the deli. When you all first started making sandwiches in the deli section, I was all here for it! I love supporting local business and I enjoy how convenient this place is for the Point, BUT at the beginning, every sandwich I had was delicious, especially the Philly cheesesteak, however, every time this particular person is in the back making the sandwiches............the Philly lacks so much luster and the potential this sandwich has is not well executed. Also, from what I noticed, every time I stop in randomly, the same guy is back there making the sandwiches, and I instantly regret my purchase. My Philly cheesesteak lacked seasoning, barely any onions, and the cheese was just a hot sloppy mess. I enjoy a sloppy sandwich, but this was sloppy in a bad way. Also, it's the way how the sandwich is constructed, it doesn't have great placement. You all have the HIGH quality ingredients and I TASTE the sandwich is slapped together without any thought. I'm concerned to purchase ANY sandwich when that one guy is working. All in all, I will still continue and support you all. I will still continue purchasing your sandwiches, however, if I see that same guy back there, I'm just turning around and grabbing a rotisserie chicken on my way out.

Little bit of this and that- very local with fresh fruit and veggies- go early in the week for a better selection. The local beers are great- good wine and spirits. All the fixings for a great charcuterie board. Bring extra cash nothing comes cheap. They have some local spice blends and small packaged cakes- worth everyy penny.

The fresh veggies were t that fresh and the meats looked a little suspect. But they actually have a pretty decent wine, cheese and accoutrements. Hooding that when the spring comes there will be more fresh food items available. But until then, I will definitely e by to check out the wine.

This is the best neighborhood market I've been to in a long time. The staff was always friendly and very helpful.I must have gone back and forth throughout the day during the week I was visiting. Getting necessities, snacks, etc.They have a small but wonderful collection of groceries to purchase. I'm coming back to this market the next time I'm back in town. It also helps that I'm just a few houses down the street from them too.

Great neighborhood place to get a bottle of wine, baguettes good pickles and nice selection of cheese. Also has household staples. Friendly owners as well.

I've never had a bad sandwich or experience here. This place is an absolute gem in our neighborhood. Everyone there is always super kind, and they're super sweet to my husky Frost, too. I love this store and am grateful it's open.

Love this place. They have a fresh foods and a large selection of alcohol. They also offer local candles and pastries as well. Highly recommend.
