My wife and I booked for a mid-morning (11am meet-up) bike tour; and it was an enjoyable experience. We had Jon as our Guide and he was very informative and knowledge, as well as funny. We were a group of 10, and we managed to stick together when crossing intersects; Jon was very mindful of our safety throughout the tour.We rode and explored for 2hrs before reaching City Park for a 30mins bathroom and biegnet break (from a Cafe Du Monde truck). We headed back to the city afterwards. The bikes were comfy and well maintained.

I went in thinking I was going to know most of the things the tour guide was going to cover. Yes, i went in with a know it all attitude but i was quite. As we toured I listen and paid great attention as the tour guide discuss the history of places we went. As we went on i was dumbfounded on how much I didn't know about the city. The tour made me feel like a tourist in my own city. I greatly appreciated the history lesson and the great ride on the segways. I would recommend this tour to anyone even the know it alls!

We had a terrific tour with Lauren. She was very knowledgeable as she took us around the city. She was incredibly patient while we were learning how to ride our Segways and very reassuring. She answered all our questions -- no matter how silly or off-topic from the tour (i.e., restaurant recommendations and where to get pralines). She was very considerate and always telling us what to avoid in the street and where it would be best to go. I would definitely take a tour with Fat Tires on my next trip. I would give more stars if I could!

The tour company responded to my review and refunded my tour even though I did not request it. They also sufficiently apologized and said they would speak to the guide about his actions.

Yes, I live in New Orleans and yes, I went on a bike tour anyway. My sister was in town from Chicago and I figured this would be an awesome way to show her the city. And holy shit it was. We covered a chunk of the French Quarter, some of the Marigny, Treme, Mid City, Bayou St John and City Park. The full loop was something like 13 miles, but at a leisurely pace, over a span of 3.5 hours, it didn't feel like a 13 mile ride. Our guide, Danny, was awesome. My sister commented, "He really seems to know a lot about New Orleans," and my response to her was, "He probably wouldn't be a tour guide if he didn't." Danny shared a TON of fun information; for instance: why Burgundy Street is so named, and didn't keep its original name, and all the different plantations that have since become NOLA neighborhoods and the real difference between Cajun and Creole. As someone who is new to New Orleans, this was an awesome way to learn about the history of my new city. It was also a really cool way to show the city to an out of towner. Our guide (Danny!) was awesome, the pace of the tour was not too grueling (novice bike people would have no trouble), and there was a stop for beignets and coffee in City Park.My parents are coming into town in a few weeks and I feel like I might have to take another tour so they can experience it, too!

We had an awesome three-hour Segway tour with a very knowledgeable guide throughout the entire French quarter of New Orleans.when he stops allowed us to view historical landmarks and get stories about the city. Our mid-tour break was at a wonderful little coffee shop and just what was needed.

My sweet lady and I decided to try this out on a whim when researching things to do. Wow. It has become the highlight of a fantastic getaway and made for the best vacation ever. First off, the guide. Steven. He was the coolest. He was so smart and knew so much about New Orleans! It was very remarkable. He was an exceptional orator and teacher, but also witty and hilarious during the ride. He took us to all the history rich locations in the fr qtr and did such a great job explaining the different stories and tied it all together very tidy. The lady at the desk when we arrived was also absolutely delightful. They should be managing that place! Thanks so much and you truly employ embassadors to the city.

Wow - Wow. Yes, this gets a double wow because it was so SUPERFANTASTIC. We did the bike tour on our first day, which was great because it set up the rest of our trip. Charlie the tour guide was excellent as he was full of information, and recommendations if needed. This tour was well worth every dollar.

Instead of giving informed information, this guy is going around talking trash on local businesses and was dumb enough to talk trash about a business that happens to be the starting point of another, more successful, tour company. It's bad form and quite a cheap way of trying to take business away from the competition. If you are good at what you do your skill as a tour guide speaks better than talking trash. Also, if you don't like a business, don't include it on your tour.
