Fat Catz

My husband and I were strolling down Bourbon street Friday afternoon when the security guy waved us over into Fat Catz. We were treated to a fun band and I thought the drummer was incredible. The place was dark and pretty crowded for 4 in the afternoon with everyone enjoying the music. A fun lively atmosphere with good music!

Stood at an empty bar with two bar tenders drunk who didn't serve me. And some random guy singing off street - place smells like vomit

This security guard grabbed my friend by the wrist and despite her telling "no, I don't want to go in there" over and over, he continued to drag her into the bar. It took me and one other friend to pry her arm out of his grip, and when we did he got in my face. I understand it's their job to lure people into the venue, but this is NOT the way to do it. No means no, and it's men like this that ruin the experience for everyone. If I could give 0 stars, I would. 0/10 would not recommend.

The ambiance is alright. The live music is nice but it's a little too loud to sit, have drinks and attempt to talk to anyone. The drinks are more expensive than the surrounding bars but they didn't seem to mind ppl bringing in their own drinks from other bars so that was nice. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.

Live music no cover small dance floor. Do I need to say more?Strong drinks. Live music. We had a great time last night at Fat Catz. Great little spot in the middle of the French Quarter. They even had a phone charging station for a small f.

Great venue for fun music, dancing and reasonable drinks! Really enjoyed the band, they really kept the energy up and had people dancing. Quick service for a busy bar and drinks weren't bad - $12 for a Diet Coke and vodka soda.

Everybody loves Fat Catz on Bourbon! Especially on a Friday night. Only on Bourbon will you see a drunk woman hanging out of an Uber while smoking a J and the cops say nothing! *I was in shock for the first hour* lol Good times

Best live music on Bourbon, hands down. Bartenders are nice and service is quick!! Thank you for being my fav place on Bourbon!

This was probably my favorite night club we visited. No cover charge too.The band was so talented and played some awesome classic rock hits ranging from AC/DC to Billy Idol to Bon Jovi. My husband and I were totally in our element here! Mix of all ages too.The bartenders are also really nice and efficient. It was packed when we visited and I didn't have to wait longer than like 3 minutes for a drink. PLUS the drinks are GOOD! Not watered down like other bars in the area. You def get your monies worth. The bathrooms also have attendants which is a nice perk. If I am ever in NOLA again I will totally make sure I stop by Fat Catz!

One of the bouncers/doorman physically grabbed my wife off Bourbon Street and pulled her inside while simultaneously with another bouncer blocking me from following. It was completely outrageous. Worse, we went back and asked to see the owner and after talking to him about what happened, he didn't care. We have asked them to preserve the video for legal purposes so we will see if they do that.
