Good cheap food but not the most desirable building presentation. I had a community event and purchased 75 pieces of dark chicken for $55!!!! This is whole pieces not drummetts! They prepared it in about 35 minutes. It was not greasy, but it was crunchy, hot, and very tasty. We will be back for more. Be patient with the workers here because They are not the nicest ppl in the world.Breakfast starts at $1.50, unbelievable!I have not tried it though. I have had their sandwiches. They even have a 32" sandwich.

I always thought they only served fried chicken, but nope. They also have burgers and seafood plates. I love their roast beef poboy. The prices are unbeatable also. You can also call ahead to place your order. Some gas station/food spots don't allow it, but they always answer.

I ordered Uber Eats tonight at 1 AM. The evening of Friday, and early morning of Saturday May 23. I called first to make sure they were doing food orders and Uber Eats so late in the night. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and a smoked sausage sandwich with fries. I waited nearly an hour for the driver to get here with my food. Upon having the driver arrive, I take my food into my house and it's the wrong order. I received a small side of fries and an order of Buffalo wings. I don't eat Buffalo wings or I really wouldn't have cared. I called the store to let them know what happened and I was put on hold (the guy just said hold on) and then for the next 10 minutes I hear him laughing and conversing with friends that are in the store. He never came back to the phone, so I hung up and contacted Uber Eats to try and fix this. They refunded my money, but I still have no food to eat. I would HIGHLY ADVISE taking your money elsewhere as it does not seem like they care about their business. It's a shame that this happened because I order takeout often and my mother and sister have only said good things about this place. I cannot wait to tell them how rudely I was treated just for trying to get my order fixed. Lesson learned.

If you told me a month ago that I'd be writing a yelp review on a random gas station in Metairie, I'd tell you that you were crazy. This gas station is the real deal. Their gas is cheaper than most spots in town and it's conveniently located if you're trying to hop on Causeway Blvd and head back to Orleans Parish. The real shining star of this gas station is their food. Their honey butter biscuits and chicken wings make my soul sing. You can get 10 wings for 5.99 and a couple of biscuits for less than a dollar. Their one piece catfish and biscuit deal for $2 is also a steal. If you're in Metairie and find your tummy grumbling and your gas light is on, do yourself a favor and stop here!

Im rather flexible when it comes to what I am expecting, but once I order and you accept I expect to get what I ordered for what you agreed to charge. That is simply not what happened here and management refused to help. The food is usually great. I mean I really do like the food. The staff is a little hasty but it can get busy so I totally am A-Ok with that. I would not suggest getting what they have prefried as I prefer my food fresher, but you can probably tell from looking if its been a while or not. They honestly have some of the better fried food around. (Details about my specific issue follow.)My problem becomes one when there is a problem there is nothing to do. The staff does not seem to care that someone messed up. Its more a thats just life sometimes response. While this is true, I do not accept this reaction from a business if it can be solved reasonably. In my case, I called in an order of a family tender. The lady said "how many pieces?" Thinking they have more options now said "the 12 piece tender with biscuits and family fries combo deal." She said, "yeah yeah 12 piece got it with family fries. Ok. That it?" I said "yes." I asked, "how long?" she said ten minutes. I got there 12 minutes later I only work a block away so I could have arrived sooner but I hate wasting time as I try to always book every minute (usually succeed). I had to wait another 15 minutes. I dont really understand this as they were not busy and it does not take almost 30 minutes to fry chicken and fries. Anyway if that was the end of it, I would have shrugged that off with no bad review as these things happen. My problem was when I got to the register I noticed I only had two items and they were individually priced. I told him I think there is a mistake I wanted to get the Tender Family Combo. He what do I mean? I said on the site. I said one sec I will show you. When I showed him he said thats old and not valid anymore. The main office needs to take that down he said. I said but when I called and said the order and the price she yeah when I said all of that. He said well she shouldnt have said that. I said ok but thats what I agreed to pay for. He kinda shrugged at me and said nothing he can do. The price is the price. I left and came back in seconds later asking for a manager. A guy heard there was an issue an said maybe he can help. I said are you from the office. He said yes whats the problem? I explained all over again to him. He agreed with me that yes this was the price but a long time ago. With the prices constantly going up they got rid of combo meals. I said then they need to update the site. He seemed to agree but didnt comment much. I pushed a little further saying thats why there are some bad reviews about uber eats pricing and menu items missing from orders. He shrugged and said only a couple with a few hundred being positive. I said true but upvoting and people reading the bad ones can hurt a business. He wasnt rude but didnt seem to care at all. I pointed out how different the price was and that the girl said yes to the price I said on the phone. He seemed to believe she did say yes that was the price but just didnt care. He wasnt honoring it and said no one can make money on that price. That may be true. I work at a privately owned local business. Just the other week we made an error and had to pay out of pocket more than $400 to our worker because we overbooked a client. It was our error so we paid for it. It is wrong to expect others to pay for your mistake. For this person from management to not even just take the $5 difference in price as a loss and do the professional thing is very poor judgement in my opinion. I didn't even bring up the honey butter biscuits that were not even being included in my order, but I was going to be perfectly happy with just my chicken and fries for that price. While I did want the biscuits, I wasnt going to make a fuss over my biscuits same as I wasnt going to fuss over not having it ready immediately. However, all this combined ruined my lunch, wasted my break, ended me up with nothing to eat all day, and was just too much all together. I can not say I will never be back as the food is good, but I wont be back for a long time. If I find someone I can call and complain to I will. Great food, good prices, but do not deal with issues well at all and do not honor their mistakes. I hope someone from their management reads this and fixes the problem, because I do feel they do a great job cooking and I do enjoy their food, but I cant spend money at a place that wont address problems when they arise.

This place is an absolute joke! I ordered pick up through Uber eats. They totally messed up the order and I requested a refund and they told me to call Uber eats to settle the issue when it was their mistake. A total lack of customer service as the manager behind the register told me not to come there anymore and that will certainly not be an issue. The food safety and sanitary conditions look questionable at best and the horrible attitudes make it one of the worst food experiences in my quarter century of living in New Orleans

Not sure about the cooking during the day, at night, it's HORRIBLE! Roast beef = terrible, Shrimp = disgusting! Also, not one employee wearing a mask (even though there's a big sign in front "Masks Required") and the employees like to smoke throughout the store. Will never go there again!
