Elmwood Self Storage & Wine Cellar

First off I was told to return a u haul car transport to this location by U haul in Georgia..So after driving all night I arrived the next day at this location to drop off the u haul I was immediately greeted by rude disrespectful employees who told me they would not be helping me insecure the straps holding my car to the carrier...First off it was uhaul policy to not allow me to secure the car myself so I had absolutely no idea to get it off..I'm a disabled veteran & I didn't deserve to be treated that way..This location and u haul itself should be shamed of themselves..

Great place to store valuables! Staff is friendly & knowledgeable, the place is always clean & orderly, has a great security system & quick access to safety deposit boxes. Also, love the fun & interesting events they put on.

First to review?! Hard to believe when this place is synonymous with great customer service. They know all their customers on a first name basis and always goes above and beyond every time you go in there. This place is hardcore about their wine. They have weekly wine tastings and the largest indoor wine storage facility in Louisiana. And they have a sommelier on site! Last time I was there, I got a chance to sample some hundred dollar wine. Yep, they just cracked that puppy open and split it with everyone in there. How awesome is that?Plus they're very community-oriented. They have a featured business and an interesting events every month. They just recently advertised for an indoor garage sale where they had over 50 sellers and door prizes! Don't know of any other garage sales where they give out door prizes- and ask for donations for a local blood bank and school. And they're doing stuff like this all the time. Every time I go to a fundraiser in Jefferson Parish, Elmwood Self Storage is involved in some shape or fashion. I've even used their board room for a meeting I conducted. They let me use that space- free of charge- and even helped me advertised for it. These people seriously get around!So check out their facilities and you won't be disappointed. I haven't been!

I once had a bank box here, and they use your handprint. One time my handprint didn't work, but they still let me in with ID. I gave up up box after a couple of years. Just use my bank now. Too far from home. Pretty office and very clean storage rooms. I think some of them have electrical outlets.

Outstanding customer service and super kind. They go out of their way to get to know the customers, not just a number. Always friendly and office cold water bottles when we are at the facility.

I would like to say thank you to everyone that works at the Elmwood Storage on Clearview. I was moving and had tons of questions and needed lots of supplies so I visited this business many times over the last few weeks and every single time I went there I was blown away by the friendliness and kindness of the staff. It is rare to find a business where everyone is kind and pleasant consistently. I highly recommend this business and appreciate all of their help and kindness.
