I'll admit to kind of being drawn in by the name, but the food will keep me coming back. The chips and salsa provided before our meal arrived were excellent. We had great service. Our server was friendly and checked on us many times to refill drinks or ask if we needed anything. I ordered menudo, and it was a large bowl that was full of meat. I appreciate finding places that offer menudo every day -- some just have it on the weekends. I felt that it lacked a little flavor, but it was still tasty, and I think I could doctor it up a bit next time. I like that the restaurant offers some more traditional Mexican meals along with more Americanized dishes to please everyone. My dad ordered a beef quesadilla that came with rice and beans that he said was very good. The restaurant itself was very colorful and lively with a bar. I recommend checking it out.

3.5/5 Came here with my husband after looking at reviews for Mexican food. The Staff are very friendly. I thought this place was a little above average 3/5, my husband thought it was a 4/5, but it's definitely not 5/5. I ordered the fajitas- it was good, but dry. My husband ordered several tacos. It's good portions for the price. I would go again. Next time I'll try the tacos.

Read some good reviews on Yelp, had to stop this local jewel, while in town to check out the goodness. We met Larry upon arrival. We had the pleasure of having him take our order. He told us that the restaurant will soon be moving to a new location in March. The food was absolutely outstanding. The carne asada was seasoned well. The rice was fluffy, nachos were delicious. Chips and tortillas were fresh! Good ol comfy restaurant, lots of locals and great hot sauce!

We had a great Sunday lunch at El Taco Larry! Service was excellent and the food was great too! My wife really enjoyed the Birria tacos and she said it was the best Mexican dish she had ever had in her life! I had one of the lunch specials, which was a grilled chicken chimichanga, rice, beans and small salad for $10.99. Great portions for the prices! Free chips and salsa, although the menu cover says they charge for chips and salsa. We also saved room for the churros bites... they were good, but overpriced. $8 for 8 small churros that were about 3-4 inches in size. Despite the small churros portion, I'd definitely go back for more of the great Mexican food at a very reasonable price!

We stopped in for takeout food, but was amazed by the joyful ambience and service happening in the restaurant. It made me wish that we were eating in. We ordered quesadillas to go. They were apparently original Mexican quesadillas since I've never had them quite like that. Spectacular. And the care of all the little sauces, silverware, and chips that were sent with us was just great. The additional taco sauces were from mild to really get your attention and that surely worked for me. Just street food and a great experience.

The food is delicious and not too expensive. We are Keto so we usually get the Fajitas or street without the four or corn tortillas. And we bring pork rinds for their cheese dip

The food was phenomenal, the habanero sauce was so good, would love to come again. They also make great margaritas.
