First time I have ever came here, very dirty not very clean store. We came in for a few things but found them super expensive. We are not from the area we came to visit family here from Texas and service here is not so friendly either. They don't greet their customers and super slow checking out. It was a mess at the check out as well. I haven't seen any other Mexican stores near and found this one but won't be coming back again.

I once had food poisoning after eating a burrito from here. However I have since been back and enjoyed the food very much. The fact that I gave them 3 stars and tried their food again after swearing off Mexican food for life should speak to how much I enjoyed the flavor of the food. So when your feeling brave or want to possibly loose 10lbs I highly recommend el ranchito. Don't get the burrito!

This restaurant is the secret of Tickfaw! I think it may only be open for lunch, but the food is wonderful. I last ordered three tacos, and could only finish two. The tacos have your choice of meat (pork, chicken, beef, tongue), sour cream, avocado, and other toppings. They serve Mexican Coke which is made with real sugar (and most delicious) or other sodas/fruit drinks. If you need any Latin groceries, the restaurant is attached to a grocery store. They have a wide selection of fairly priced groceries.

Possibly the best food ever. We go there whenever we are in the area. Los Tres Amigos are a steal. Their Shrimp Cocktail ( weekends only) can feed 2 easily. The homemade corn tortillas are fabulous. Barbaracoa ( sp?) is our meat of choice. Refried beans with queso appetizer hits the spot. Only drawback is the buses of travelers who can take over the place and u have to just hope you hit in between their arrival. Very very worth the chance to drive by and see if the coast is clear. Full bar. LOVE IT!

In my quest for authentic Mexican food in this area, I came upon this little restaurant. We dined there on a Monday evening and although there were few customers, service was very slow. I waited an additional 15 minutes for my sweet tea while everyone else at the table enjoyed their sodas. We had to ask several times for extra chips and a side of bean and cheese dip because they kept forgetting our request. When our main meals were brought out, all four plates had cold beans and rice on them. The food would have been tastier had it not sat and cooled off to room temperature before they served us. The flavor of the pork in red sauce was excellent, the tortillas were super fresh. All other meats were dry, as if the had been sitting under a hot light for a while. The restaurant itself can only be described as 'hole in the wall', basic, kitchen too visible and noisy, but reasonably clean. With better attention to service and getting orders out when warm, this mediocre restaurant could elevate itself into a bigger clientele other than local Hispanics looking for a taste of their old home.
