El Ranchito

Defiiitely found my little "hole in the wall" and "I only eat my momma's cooking" spot here in the Big easy. I ordered a burrito and it was the bomb dot com. Tons of meat, extra cheese, rice ( delish! ) and the sauce is really tasty. My husband got their steak plate, and he was really impressed. He is usually not a fan of spanish food but man, this time he even ate the mashed beans. We ordered food to go and it was ready in 10 minutes. Everything, I mean everything came out good, fresh and the really feels and tastes like home made.

This place has the best menudo IN THE WORLD. The broth stained my whole world red and I loved it with my entire being. The tortillas served with it, and the salsa served before, were clearly made in house. I will definitely be returning often. With friends if I ever make any.

Food was tasty but unfortunately there was a hair untwined with the Gordita . Paid full priced and walked away never going back.
