This is my go-to Mexican spot in Terrytown/Gretna. I've liked everything I've ordered... except the margaritas. Prices are fair. You get a ton of food. Service is usually pretty fast and friendly. One star deduction bc the music is too loud. Everyone tries to talk over it, so then it makes for an even louder restaurant.

We stopped in here for a quick bite before a movie. Running behind, we had under an hour to eat, pay, and get out. This isn't something we even had to mention to the waiter. He was so quick with taking our orders, refilling our drinks, and even gave us a to-go cup at the end! Excellent service! The vibe here is very nice. There are separate seating areas, some with more light, some with less. I'm not sure if you can choose where you sit, but I think it works for however you're feeling. On to the food! I got the birria tacos, and I savored every bit of it. The green sauce was delicious with a tiny kick to it, the roasted vegetables were well seasoned, and the birria itself was one probably one of the best I ever had.

I was not a huge fan of El Patron at their old location. But I have been to the new location at least 5 times and it is consistently good. The shrimp chimichanga, beans, fajitas and chicken chimichanga are favorites. I'll keep trying new things! The salsa is good, and the service is fantastic as well.

El Patron is very popular on the Bestbank. I dined here on a Sunday afternoon with some of my church members. This was my first and last time visiting this establishment. I really do not even remember what I ordered because it was not all that.

I met two friends here for lunch. We were seated promptly and brought beverages. Wait staff was very friendly. I got the steak fajitas and they were sizzling hot and very good. The meat was very tender and full of flavor. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Food was mouthwatering, but the service was like a saga. Our server seemed to be in a different time zone, as they took forever to take our order and bring our food. When we requested a bag, she gave us a blank stare, and we had to MacGyver a solution for the hole in the quesobirria's hot consume container.she seemed taken aback and stated that they do not offer plastic bags and nor do we pack the consumé. The quesobirria container had a hole in the lid, and our server seemed confused when we requested a plastic bag. She wasn't knowledgeable on the menu. Our request for melted cheese on our fajitas was misunderstood, and we received cold shredded cheese in a bowl. Despite asking for queso dip instead. They don't do add ons and customizations, which is all I gathered. My problem is she was lazy and also telling me to bus her table. Young, entitled, didn't give effort. Maybe wait till we leave before bussing a table. The music was cranked up to eardrum-shattering levels, making it a challenge to communicate with our server and place orders without resorting to charades. The victuals were delectable, but the service left us feeling drained, and we may not be back for the next episode...

Good food and service but the theming of the restaurant is the best part. Their chorizo, bean and cheese dip is delicious.

Holy-It's-a-small-world! This place was so awesomely themed that I felt like I was in Disney! Every dinning area, including the outside patio, was so fun and beautifully decorated. It was so fun just being around it. It is definetly a fun place for kids and families. But it was just the hubby and I and we enjoyed some margs, guac, molcajetes, and chimichunga. The marg was tasty, I had the strawberry, but it was not very strong. The molcajetes were good, but I think the one I had at Loya's was a little bit more flavorful. Plus I needed more than the 3 small tortillas that came with it, I ended up buying more. The service was unbeleivably welcoming and friendly. There was plenty of parking. The restaurant is HUGE and would be good for groups. Also wheelchair accessable.

Beautiful place huge menu, which to sum might be great but to an indecisive person like myself not so much however, the food is really great. I love the fajita bowl for two.And the shrimp cocktail
