El Paso Mexican Grill - Luling

GO GO GO ! It's been a little while since eating here last time . Atmosphere , food and service I give five stars this time ! Greatly improved over my last experience! The food was the best food I've had in a Mexican restaurant in a long time.Let's start with the atmosphere which is greatly improved with very nice comfortable furniture and decor, fitting , mid to upper range style Mexican restaurant . We were greeted instantly at the door and sat in a booth as it was our preference. The hostess was very pleasant . Chips with salsa were brought to the table immediately and my friend and I requested beans and queso and it was delivered very quickly. We ordered our food, and when it arrived, it was beautifully presented and very hot, which is a plus plus for me.I had a chicken lunch plate and my friend ordered steak fajitas.My experience this time ,was so elevated and superior compared to my last visit . Pricing is fair to value. I will definitely return.

Ordered 2 Quesos to go and the OWNER argued with me saying I only get 1 with TWO LARGE quesos. They said you get 1 an order? What? And said I can go buy chips from a store. The owners are RUDE!!!!!! I will never be back!!! Too many other better Mexican Restaurants in the area!!!!!

The chicken fajitas were good. The chicken quesadillas - not good. The cheese was runny - like not cooked enough. We'll try it again but passing on the quesadillas.

The nachos, the steak fajitas burrito is on point. The margaritas are the Sh$t especially when you have a pony Corona beer bottle drowning in the slushy.

The shrimp fajita was terrible. They brought the onions out without being cooked and the taste of it all was terrible! Also the shrimp were small as a dime and bad tasting .. I told the waitress in the beginning the food tasted terrible but no help at all, she wanted to bring another terrible plate of un cooked food... no discount or sorry for a $17 lunch special of terrible food.. avoid this place at all cost

Food was bland, chili relleno was tasteless and tough. Ordered cheddar stuffed jalapeños and got cream cheese stuffed ones.Service was very slow and it wasn't busy. I don't know if the server was new or didn't care. I go there on a semi regular basis and usually everything is on point. The time I feel like I got low value for the price. Place was clean and seemed well maintained

Excellent service, food and drinks. Only thing that leaves this at a 4 star and not 5 is sometimes the meat quality can be lacking and if you go on a night the band plays it can get really really loud.

Food was terrible lady up front was supposedly our waitress but was busy with everything else but us and they also skipped us and seated someone else before us even when our name was written down before them also brother ordered a burrito she came and said i didnt put a burrito down i put pollo loco and they gave him a pollo loco because it would be another 30 minutes for us to correct your order ask for a beer with little ice and seemed like she could careless when i would speak to her and would walk away as im speaking terrible all around

The service is great as well as the margaritas. We definitely enjoy their taco Tuesday specials and the live music.
