Unusually delicious dinner of queso, enchiladas con mole, burritos, nachos and house margaritas (one frozen, one on the rocks. Everything was fresh and super-delicious!Salsa so good - plenty of fresch cilantro. Mole sauce was excellent. All very much better than the usual American Mexican. Was nice that they were open until 11. Will be back.

Great place to go to spending time with friends and listen to live music. I liked the chill environment. We mainly did appetizers and our server made sure we continually had chips. We had to ask several times for a container once we finished our entrees.

This is my absolute favorite spanish place. The food always comes delicious and fresh tasting and whenever we have an issue, the staff is always happy to fix it.We found this place by complete accident one night and now it's one of the few places we actually trust ordering from on waitr.Staff is sweet, too. Never had an issue with them at all!

This is our close friends favorite place in Hammond, so we end up here a lot. Yes the food is more Tex-mex and not "authentic". What makes it a stand out are the owners and service,. All the staff is extremely friendly and wantinging to please. Also, since COv19 we have been there more. They have a large layout and my husband and I really like their outdoor area and the cocktails. The portions are good size and served quickly.

If you want something for a party don't go here. They charge way too much for items such as pico di gio. I went there and was treated in a very unfriendly way by the female manager and it was as if she was making up the price as she went along. I ordered a Coke while I was waiting for her to figure out what she was going to charge me and she told me the Coke was $3.25! I couldn't believe it. I told them I didn't want the pico since was charging so much and went to Saritas and got the stuff I needed for much cheaper.i will never go to El Gave again!

I will not be going back to this place!!! I wanted to make a Togo order. Everybody who came in after me was serviced. They had me sitting there for 15 min. No one came and took my order!!! Crazy cause I order from there once a week spending over $60. I guess I wasn't the right race as I normally order over the phone. So I just ordered my food over the food. I didn't leave a tip like I normally do even on Togo orders. The waitress thew my food on the table!!! Everyone in the restaurant saw her to this shit!!! I need to speak to a manager!!!

Wow had lunch with my son there and it was a disaster. Rookie waitress that got both orders wrong. One order was just 2 beef tacos. She brought chicken but my son did not send it back. But he wished he had since he got sick that day from the darn tacos. My order was simple. Steak fajitas. Waitres brought chicken and steak mix. Heck it looked bad and wasn't even sizzling when she brought it. I sent it back. Order two waters with lemon and that did not come to us till the food came Which took a very long time And like I said it was all wrong. Won't be back!!

They served me a chili relleno that could not be cut with my fork. They took it back and brought another one out with the hard side down against the plate. Then the manager got angry when I told her I didn't want the third one they brought out. I have to admit this is the first time we have ever been disappointed with this place. But the lady manager has made sure I will never darken their door way again! My wife and my son said they were disappointed with the food as well. Maybe management has changed.
