Ebony's Beauty Supply

This review is well overdue! I have been a loyal customer of Ebony Beauty Supply for the past four to five years. They have everything needed for knotless braids, extension, wigs, and natural hair. Not only is it jam packed with inventory almost every visit there's a stylist or "kitchen beautician" in store more than willing to help. The key differentiator for me is the product knowledge, friendliness, and helpfulness of the owner and their son. They get it y'all! The staff is always able to come from behind the register to walk you to the exact products. I had a very detailed conversation with the male owner about edge control options (lol) and I must admit. I learned a few things. Ample parking, be aware there could be panhandlers and loiterers standing outside the store during your visit.

One of the most pleasant wig shopping experiences. She was so nice, patient, I spent an hour trying on various wigs. She never pressured me, but kept bringing more options!!! Some beauty supply stores have a hostile, follow you to your grave attitude. She let me go pick out my own wigs. Average prices.

If I could give it a 0 I would! My friend went to purchase a wig, everything was going well (sales lady was nice and helpful) until we arrived to the register. The owner was the cashier and tried to change the price, when it was brought to her attention that the wigs were 50% and that the price she was trying to give her was incorrect she stopped and all of the sudden she had a headache...really? This is not an bargain center and your wigs had a set price and are at 50% off, you can not pick and choose what will be 50% off when you want and with who. I will NEVER shop here again, not only was this very racist but bad customer service!! When people open their eyes and realize that this type of treatment isn't right they will stop shopping and your place of business will close!! So please take that wig you so desperately wanted to sell at a higher price and shove it where the sun doesn't shine!
