One of my favorite spots in New Orleans. Always something fun and new. A great place to find a special souvenir to take home.Sabine Chadborn is my favorite. Cute wire rings for only $10 and other great silver jewelry. I own lots of her jewelry. This time I also discovered the cute frog earrings. The gallery also has pottery, tiles, dominoes, paintings, photography and other styles. Stop in and find your favorite. A lifetime souvenir is better that a witty t-shirt.

I truly enjoy a great Artist's Co-op and Dutch Alley is one of those places. It is owned and operated by fantastic artists. Pieces are truly one of a kind in every sense of the word. Materials used will pass your imagination. It's art! On any given day you'll have the pleasure of meeting the artists. It's nice because you'll get a personal introduction to the art piece. I enjoyed my visit. Did not leave empty handed. I just couldn't!When in NAWLINS, do as the artist aficionados do and pay Dutch Alley a visit :D

Very nice place to visit if you're looking for artwork. They have a wide range of choices from normal paintings to clay work to mixed media. The service is great and the people who work there were absolutely lovely to talk to. Between my brother and I we spent a couple hundred dollars on clay pieces from an artist named Chris Menconi, and we plan to purchase more from him if we ever can. We were also able to meet him in person as he was at the store! He helped us make our purchases and even wrapped the more fragile items my brother bought in bubble wrap to protect them. Would very much return here if ever back in NOLA.

This place was almost a palate-cleanser after our brief visit to the French Market a block or so away. Dutch Alley held all the things we were hoping to find in the Market, with the added bonus of having friendly and welcoming staff and some of the artists on hand.We stepped into the - blessedly cool - building and were immediately greeted and welcomed. The nice man who said hello didn't attach himself to our sides, just asked us to let him know if we had questions or needed help. It's a moderately-sized space, filled with hand-crafted art ranging from paintings to sculptures to furniture to jewelry. We took our time roaming the aisles, stopping at a few intriguing pieces (there was a lamp made from Cypress knee that fascinated us) and admiring the creativity of the artists.I spent a good deal of the time in front of a large jewelry display, which was full of pieces designed and made by local artisan Sabine Chadborn. We were there so long Sabine had time to stop by, introduce herself, and let us know she was over on the other side of the building if we had questions about any of her wares.I ended up buying two pairs of earrings from her stall and have worn them with pride - and received lots of compliments - since coming home.I'm glad we found this little building, tucked a bit back from the main street. We like to support local artists as often as we can, and it's nice to know that we met and supported an artist who took the time to strike up a friendly - if brief - conversation with us.

This is a great shop for a high end, original souvenir. Many different artists are represented, all with different styles and mediums (from jewelry to painting to little sculptures). They are on the higher end of the price spectrum, but if you fall in love with something it's worth the price because you're not finding it anywhere else!

An interesting assortment of artists and styles. We bought a few items and enjoyed seeing the various styles and media. We had an item custom made (a variation of an item on display) and the artist made the item in time for us to pick it up before we left New Orleans.

I love this place and almost always forget to stop by when in NOLA. Experience multiple local NOLA artists in a single shop. Jewelry, art, novelty and fun. It's a great place to pick up unique handmade items you don't see around the other shops that sell trinkets. I picked up a nice birthday gifts for my spouse while the family had fun browsing.

Mostly amateur looking art; there's some nice ceramic pieces and paintings but a lot of the ceramics and woodwork is overpriced and not finished very well. But there are some very cool matted photos & collage pieces that are reasonably priced, along with a very interesting sculpture (which sits in front of a mirror to enhance the effect), but otherwise not much stands out.
