A quaint little establishment. This rating isn't to say the food isn't good. It is! Just in comparison to say home run food/date night this isn't exactly it but it is still yummy food nonetheless if you want some quality food made with care for yourself. Quick quality bite. I frequent here for lunch on average 3 times a week. Pricing is more than reasonable. Pro Tip: Call ahead your order once you know what you want from the menu.

I'd love to be able to rely on this place, but all their groceries are way overpriced, the hot food is really disappointing, and even though they have someone there overnight, I'm pretty sure whoever is working takes a fat nap between 1 and 5 am.The daytime people are nice, but man, if I want ice cream after a long day, crickets.

I was directed to this establishment for their fried chicken wings. QUICK NOTE: I don't eat chicken. So I have to act under the advisement of others chicken connoisseurs; with that being said, I journeyed to Don's on that advice. Located in the 17th on Eagle Street, this quaint little "mini-mart of sorts" has a little bit of everything & then some; baby diapers, sodas, cake mix, toys, detergent, souvenirs, white tees... You get the point. I needed chicken for an event & didn't have time to go to my usual place; wish I had pressed my way there. After delivery of the chicken, I was told the chicken wasn't the tastiest (evident from the left over pieces), but it did smell good; that smell was potent, it resonated from my trunk (yes I put it in the trunk). It was fresh because it was prepared while I waited; 30 minutes was the time to prepare 150 pieces; quick processing for that amount I must admit. I did note a few piece were burned & I found that to be UNappealing. In addition to chicken, you can get seafood, sandwiches, breakfast... The cooks are on site to prepare what you want. Great go to place for a quick bite or a white-tee, but next time I'll stick to my normal place for chicken wings.

I went here one day after my best friend kept raving about their chicken wings. So since I was in the are I decided to check them out.The service was slow and the employees were rather surly. I had to shout 3 times before I got there attention. My friend kept flirting with those 2 gals and one of them kept trying to get me to buy vodka for her. I told her no, I figured that it wasn't my responsibility to afford her liquor habit. The food was good, I had the chicken wings with French fries. Although I did like the wings they were not the best ones in town. Besides wings they do serve poboy sandwiches here. This is an old school corner store. They sell grocery stuff, booze, tobacco and other products. The kitchen area makes wings, burgers, and poboy sandwiches. But this place is right in the middle of pigeon town so pay attention to your surroundings. In other words it's in the ghetto. In short surly service, good food, bad location. If you want good chicken wings in the ghetto check out Manchu's instead.

You will be pleasantly surprised no matter what you order. Low prices, large helpings. I recommend the breakfast, but the poboys are pretty good. Underpriced for the value.

A true New Orleans po-boy. Ordered three of the fried shrimp po-boys or on French as they say tonight and it was awesome. Loaded with the perfect sized shrimp, crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, mayo, ketchup and Louisiana Hot Sauce. Did I mention that their po-boys are huge, it had to be at least 18". They have numerous items on their menu and it all sound great. Can't wait to try out Don's again.

Don in the WORST! He claims that they are open 24/7 on Yelp, but he isn't. What's worse, is that they're not even open late! These out of touch idiots can't even update their Yelp listing OR their Google liosting
