Cute little record store. Has a kind of old school laid back feel to it. It's small but has lots of all types of music. Really good selection of artists. A place you could easily spend 45 minutes in just flipping through the albums. The prices are pretty decent and it's just a cool place to visit.

I like to go check out music and record stores every chance i get. A couple weeks ago i stumbled across this place while out with a friend. I live in this area, and never knew this place existed. Today, I ventured in. And I must say, I was personally blown away! It's a small place, but the music selection can pack a punch for my interests. Be it nostalgia, but I liked the fact that I can thumb through the vinyl selection, like how many record store were back in the day. While sifting through, I saw a good bit a music that I listened to. Just by that aspect, it was enough to garner my interest and return to purchase selections that I can add to my musical collection. If you're looking for local music, Hip Hop, R&B, Jazz, music from around the world, etc I think you should give this place a look.

A great local New a Orleans record store. Small but potent. Nice mix of new reissues and vintage original vinyl. They get international LPs you rarely ever see anywhere else. They have a great selection of rarities on the wall, and the prices here are totally fair. The owner is super nice and knowledgeable. Cash only.

Domino Sound is a gem of a small record store. The selection spans rock, jazz, blues, punk, hip hop, and an unreal variety of international music. The selection appears intentionally curated to keep junk from clogging the bins. Prices are very reasonable. The staff have always been friendly and helpful to me. I have never left without buying something that I didn't know I wanted when I entered the store.

This place reminds me of how much a miss a record store in my life, and what an old lady I really am.... You crazy kids and your I-tunes and your digital music, you don't know what you are missing. Why, back in my day you could go to a record store and spend hours touching albums (whether on vinyl or compact discs). You could find new music by talking to the cool folks who worked behind the counter. You could take home your purchases and read the liner notes and the lyrics on the sleeves, can't do that with a digital download, can you? This place has a huge punk section, local music, rock steady and so much more. You have to go and check it out!

This shop is incredibly well curated, with especially strong punk, African, reggae, and soul collections. Also of note, this little stretch of Bayou road has all kinds of cool stuff on it.

This record shop has a really unique and interesting selection! If you are looking for New Orleans music, this is a great place to stop in. They have a great selection of world music and soul and funk as well. Cash only, but there is an ATM right down the street. This was the only record store we had time to stop into in NOLA so I can't compare to others, but it was great!
