Fun for both tourists and locals alike, this is my go-to when I'm looking for cards and stickers to send to friends, family, and customers. The one that reads "only New Orleans is real, the rest is done with mirrors" is one of my personal favorites, so of course I own it myself and have sent it to just about everyone. Their greeting cards have so much character and are just beautiful in an authentic but minimalist way that somehow flawlessly captures the place and its vibe. Another thing I love are the freebies. On the table by the door are several stacks of postcards and stickers with fun quotes and photography, and you're encouraged to take a couple. I often send them to my customers with their jewelry orders.

Defend New Orleans.A great shop to find those eclectic gifts that are unique and not cookie cutter whatsoever. You'll find a piece of New Orleans you can gift to someone visiting or a fellow local who wants to represent the 504. From lapel pins to unique shirts and socks. This shop really does carry a bit of everything, including boxed water.I really like both of their store locations but this one seems to have a bit more room. There's currently a Felix The Cat style as a shirt and I can't wait for them to make it into a cap for me to purchase.

One of my favorite shops in one of my favorite cities, DNO (Defend New Orleans) is a wonderful store in a cute house right on the corner of First and Magazine streets in the Garden District. It makes me happy every time I walk into this delightful place because the people are always friendly, helpful, nice and make you feel welcome. I also love the fact that whenever I have asked for something, they go out of their way to get it for me - either by ordering it from the other store (also amazing), or shipping it to me as soon as they can. The store features beautiful locally-sourced clothing, artwork, books, gifts and other treasures that make shopping here a special experience. The location of both stores are great, this one is right on Magazine Street and can be incorporated into a wonderful afternoon walk-and-shop (and eat/drink) outing. I also very much like the DNO brand and their sense of social responsibility and love of the environment. Their website is first rate and well-designed and offers an enjoyable online experience. If you love Louisiana and New Orleans, as I do, you will also love this store.

I have always been a huge fan of DNO and what they do. Their shop is New Orleans focused and their products largely come from local folks. They have a large variety of T-shirts, art, and other gift items that represent NOLA. Their t-shirts are high quality and iconic with simple yet fashionable designs. I love perusing their selection of books and zines that they keep on stock and the other small items from local artists (earrings, postcards, etc.). This is a staple shop in New Orleans.Cool tip: they have free stickers and postcards near the door that you can grab on your way out!

DNO is the best. Whenever I need a gift, I always check out DNO. They have a great selection of New Orleans gear and art from local artists in the area. They also work with many organizations in the area to benefit different initiatives. The t-shirts are good quality, and I have one that I wear ALL the time that hasn't faded. The designs are "hip" and match the culture of the city. Personally, I love their crop top line, but have ordered everything from men's t-shirts to art to beanies. They also include free little stickers with your order! Not sure if you can shop in-store amid COVID, but you can get the job done through their website. They do offer store pick-up if they have it available at the store!

I dig this hip little store on Magazine. I noticed their tshirts and stickers before I even knew who or what they meant. Reminiscent to that of Shepard Fairey and his own Obey symbol. I like that. One of a kind items. I've picked up groovy tees for friends, stickers to trade across the globe, postcards with witty sayings stuck around my abode and a super cool Brent Pafford ceramic pitcher. It's not a big box glossy store, so you'll have to seek it out. It can be easy to miss. I've got it down now, but the first time I drove around it a few times. Go. Seek. Look. and if you feel the urge....pick up a little something.

As a native , I'm biased , but I love these tshirts !!! Made a order online as I now live in NYC , and I ordered the wrong size .... my mistake ..... sent an email about it and Jennifer responded to me quickly and professionally. I called her on the phone and she was so pleasant and friendly to deal with , she showed wonderful patience and a kind spirit. Needless to say , the whole process of switching out my shirt was completely painless and I can't wait to swing by the shop next time I'm in town . Jennifer , you're a badass !!!!! Keep it up !!! I didn't love anything inside, it was a little sparse and a really random collection-- but I took a free postcard that was cool!

I love this little store! Well, I have been buying from them for some time now. I like their products. Part souvenir, part print media. The staff is helpful and will get you what you need. There is also a little sale bin, you might miss it if you blink. It's worth putting your paws on and see if the design on sale is talking to you. This reminds me of the stores in Portland, OR. It has a little of everything which is great. The better part is the products are crafted quite well.

Bought a few t-shirts yesterday, and I must say the cut and quality of the shirts here are second to none. I love to represent my city wherever I go, and now I can do it in a stylish way. Thanks Dno!
