Dixie Cafe at Houmas House and Gardens40136 Highway 942 River Road, Darrow, LA 70725Conveniently located at the front entrance of the Houma House, this was my first time actually being able to come here for a proper lunch! If you want a light flavorful brunch or their buffet (I didn't get to try it), then this spot is for you! I plan to try the buffet next time I pass by. 1. Chicken wings with a sweet chili glaze.2. Crawfish pies.3. Crown Jewel Hamburger Grilled 7oz burger topped with cheese, bacon, mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Served with fries.4. OMG! What an experience!! Great Food(had the Buffet,hats off to the chefs), Awesome service(bloody mary was the bomb). Couldn't ask for better ambiance(lots of large windows,views of the grounds/garden). Can't wait to go back!Thank you for a great Birthday experience!

Great atmosphere. Nice staff. Good was good. However very greasy. I have stomach ulcer and ate little. Nice place.

Good breakfast and lunch buffet for decent price. Beautiful place to visit at the museum and plantation.
