This food tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! Susan, our guide, was amazing--she didn't just lead the tour; she brought the city's rich history and culture to life. It was fascinating to learn the origins of iconic dishes like gumbo, calas cakes, and po'boys, all while enjoying perfectly portioned tastings. Susan's storytelling made the experience truly immersive. What made Susan stand out was how much she knows about everything New Orleans. From jazz spots to local festivals, she's full of suggestions that go far beyond food. If you're looking to dive into the city's culture, this tour (and Susan's expertise) is a must. I highly recommend doing this early in your trip--you'll want to revisit the spots she introduces you to! Worth every penny!

The walking food tour was great. Susan, our guide, was very knowledgeable and passionate. If you're nervous about the walking part, don't be. It's a leisurely walk, no hills, and a welcome break between tastings. Highly recommend!

Just got back from NOLA for Memorial Day weekend and have to say this is one food tour I'm so glad I opted for. As a solo traveler I always try and anchor every trip with one, so I can sample more than I would if I were to venture out alone. After tremendous research and realizing there were SO many options to choose from but this one somehow stood out to me.I booked via Viator for the "New Orleans Food Walking Tour of the French Quarter" - $75 (18 people max); $85 for small group option (13 people max). I opted for the upgrade for a more intimate experience but I suppose larger groups/families could be fine with the standard option.Susan was our guide and truly such a delight. A true pro, but warm, friendly, engaging and personable. I can tell she ebbs and flows with the group no matter what demographic. How she does back-to-back tours with the same level of energy is truly admirable. Loved the balance of New Orleans history with taking us to some great spots - several of which were on my personal hit list, so glad we covered that ground. The tour itself covered 6 stops with a range of savory and sweet. We had 2 takeaway sweets that bookended the tour and 3 seated stops, 1 of which was in the French Market. I have admit, I found myself going back to TWO of these spots post-tour...so suffice to say this tour made an impact on me. Even better, on my last day at one of the stops, Susan spotted me and tapped me to say hello - the fact that she recognized me just goes to show how personal this tour is. Check it out!

Really terrible company! I booked a tour with them and they cancelled on me less than 24 hours before it was scheduled to happen. It was my birthday and I travelled from Colorado for it. They did it via text and when I had questions, they never answered my texts. Shame on this company! Wish I good give zero stars

We had a fantastic food tour with Susan! The stops were top notch, and she shared wonderful food, history, and cultural information along the way. Susan was a treat, and helped us find places that were open the following day when a freak snowstorm shut the city down. I'd highly recommend this tour, and if Susan is your guide, you will have the best time!!!!

Susan is as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about New Orleans and how the history and culture of the people influence its food scene. We tasted a multitude of regionally famous dishes to include beignets, the muffuletta sandwich, sausage, gumbo and more. We waddled away full and happy with further appreciation for NOLA cuisine. This tour did not disappoint! For those who worry about the walking, we didn't feel over exerted. Highly recommended to foodies!

She was the perfect mix of friendly, knowledgeable and fun! We learned so much about New Orleans from her that for the rest of the trip we would point out things to each other that she had taught us.
