Ramen was very mid, didn't like sweetness of the meat. Also server a little inattentive. Sushi was good, but not much of an atmosphere.

We went on a Thursday evening. It was basically empty. But everything and everyone was wonderful. The sushi was fresh and the portions were very good! We had a great experience and will definitely be back!!

I had kind of a weird experience here. I live less than half of a mile from this establishment so when it opened, I made a plan to try to visit, but then honestly looked at the prices, and was very, very discouraged, even with the lunch prices everything seemed very expensive. But I decided to wait and use it for a special occasion or a nice takeout meal, or in-person visit in the future.Today I had an especially long day at work, and I just wanted something nice to eat for dinner so I popped in. There was a sandwich board with handwritten specials, written on it at the front, with no prices, but the very first thing was fatty Toro. I asked to order it, and the price, and was told it was $64. I asked her to repeat it because I didn't seem like a daily special and she started to explain to me what toro was, and I said no I know what it is I just need to know why it is $64. She then went to the chef and asked him to confirm whether it was 46, 64, or $16 which was outrageous, and he replied that it was $64. She came back and told me it's because it has 16 pieces of sashimi and I said that's crazy, nobody needs that much, especially when it's listed like a special. For being listed first, on a handwritten specials board, I think it's very very misleading that you could order one item and it would be $64.I then ordered one Ramen and one Gyoza, and my total was about $30 which I thought was high. I had ordered a drink, but apparently she didn't hear me so when she brought me my food, I asked the hostess if I could add that Coca-Cola on. She told me I did not pay for it, and I replied that I know I just want to add it even if I have to pay for it. She then went to go get it, and another woman that I assume was a manager stepped up and told her instead of getting a small size of fountain drink for her to get me the large size of fountain drink. So I thought maybe that they were comping the drink. But instead they charged me $3.75 for a freaking to go soft drink after paying $30 for ramen and Gyoza. The meal was good, the Ramen broth was pretty tasty, and had some good fixings but honestly, there were like two pieces of meat total. The noodles were packaged separately, which I appreciated, but they were so stuck together. I literally could not get them separated, so I had to drop all of them in the broth at one time, which made it impossible to find the very few fixings that were in there. The Gyoza were tasty, but they weren't anything special, I think it was like six of them for about seven or eight dollars, which I guess was reasonable, but they were not the best I've ever had. The sauce just seemed to be soy sauce with like some green onions inside of it.The restaurant was almost completely empty when I went in there. It's a huge clean open space and out of like maybe 20 or 30 tables, they only had three filled. It was early, but it was still about 5:30 or 6 o'clock, so I expected to see more people in there for dinner. The vibe was really confusing, it seemed to be a fully functioning sushi bar, and the menu is mostly Japanese, but they were blaring country music the entire time I was there. Overall, this wasn't bad, but it definitely definitely was not worth the very very exorbitant prices. Additionally, the service was weird, I didn't feel very welcomed there, I felt overcharged at every turn, and I felt like it was completely ridiculous for them to try to charge me $64 for one item on the specials board. The other thing that was really weird is that the hostess untied my bag to put my straw in the bag to re tie and knot it, and then just handed me my drink without the straw. And I thought that was totally bizarre, it's not a drive-through daiquiri place or a bar, it's a restaurant. Hiding the straw after charging almost $4 for a soft drink added insult to injury. I doubt I will be back-- there's a lot of really really good competition in this genre in Metairie.

Honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Kenner. I go mostly at Lunch time and always enjoy the delicious food, great prices and warm, fantastic service. I usually get the chicken Teriyaki Bento box which is soooo fire! Comes with miso, shrimp tempura, salad, rice, California rolls, pot stickers, Teriyaki chicken and veggies! I always feel comfortable going there, it's a casual setting perfect for the whole family or friends!

First time going here. I have favorite sushi place but is not close to my home. This is very close to home so hoping it would be great. I have to say it is excellent. The coconut shrimp was very good and the pork egg rolls I could eat all day. The portion size of the pork egg rolls was small but priced appropriately considering prices these days. I'd like a larger portion even with increase in price. The sushi was fresh and especial rolls are large. We had the ninja and sexy rolls. Both were excellent. Give a higher liking to the sexy roll but I could have the ninja anytime. Can't wait to try some of the others. Lobster roll looked good. Try that next time. $49 (before tip) for 2 large rolls, 2 appetizers, and tea. Not bad considering the portion size of the rolls were large. If u love sushi u have to check this place. Very clean. Large seating. Place was near empty but I think they r fairly new, the location in the strip mall is not good. Can't see it from the street easily but it looks like they do a lot of carry out and I can see why. I'll be doing carry out when I'm the mood. This now competes very well with my normal go to sushi place. With it being close to home I'll be coming here now more often.

I ordered takeout, it was also my first time. I don't have anything really wrong to say but I will say the soft shell crab was tempura battered, the batter is too thick and the dipping sauce lacks a citrus element. The edamame was overcooked and the outer skin was practically dissolving. I want to give some helpful feedback for the future! The miso soup was a little extra salty but maybe that's just their style. Overall everything was fine I just wanted to share some of the technicalities of certain dishes

Ordered take out and my roll was made with rice paper (not soy) and didn't have lemon slices as described. They didn't mention that they didn't have the needed ingredients. It smelled strange inside, but there wasn't a single table filled, so I thought they may be cleaning? Less than 2 hours later both people who ate the sushi were vomiting - icing on the cake for me.
