I've tried this place a few times for boiled crabs. Today I paid $45 for a dozen. Out of my dozen, two were good! The rest were runny, light, and just not that good. I also wanted some sides but couldn't order them separately. I had to buy a bag of corn, potatoes and suasage together. The corn was good but I'll pass on the other stuff I was forced to buy. Tonight was the last time I will purchase seafood from this establishment

Pretty good but 3 stars because they overcooked mine. Yes made to order but looks and tastes a tiny bit burnt. Saw employee who saw me saw him pickup and eat a boiled shrimp while he was working in the kitchen.

My husband wanted poboys, so we stopped at this seafood place. He figured, we pass by several times a week, it was about time we gave it a try. A simple kitchen setup and outdoor seating, it's ideal for takeout meals--lunch or dinner. There were several well-priced daily specials, posted in writing on the glass window. We ordered the fish plate and were thrilled with the size of the servings. Half a dozen strips of fish, and some of the most delicious, local, New Orleanian style jambalaya and potato salad I've ever had. Our shrimp poboy was delicious. But the totally unexpected standout was the amazing fish plate. If you're a snowball aficionado, you need to try a Danny & Bonnie snowball this summer. The ice was shaved so finely -- and that makes all the difference with a snowball. I saved the best for last: the onion rings. Husband and I tagged on an appetizer of onion rings to the order. The moment our food was ready, we could smell the onion rings. They were perfectly prepared and served with a special dipping sauce. After dinner, the star dish was this misleadingly simple app. "We're going back there just for these onion rings!" It's happened again. I found a place so great that I don't even want to review it, for fear others will flock in and eat all the onion rings before I get there! We were so happy with our order, I want to keep Danny & Bonnie's all to myself!

Side of the road seafood market with good po-boys.Headed to Venice to fish or Bowfishing unlimited in port sulpher? Stop in and get some seafood to cook, sandwiches for the boat and definitely 2 bags of cracklin. One for the road trip and one for the camp.

This review is on behalf of one of my coworkers. He loves this place and wanted me to write a review for him. LOLHe does keto (low carbs, high fat). Due to his specific food needs, it can be difficult for him to find foods he likes. In comes Danny & Bonnie Seafood's cracklin.....They were closed for the month of July and I'm pretty sure my coworker started having withdrawals. The flavors explode in your mouth upon the first bite. When asked for a more specific description, he can only describe it with one word: addictive. If you're looking for good cracklin and are in the area, it's definitely worth checking out and among the best on the west(bank).

I was told these were really good cracklins and I just HAD to try this since I was in town.I originally wanted to order 1/4 lb. but the worker got me and said "you're gonna make me work for a few cracklins?!" in a joking but not joking way. So I ordered half a pound instead. *rolls eyes*I was not really impressed, they were very hot and fresh, but super soft...and it had this vinaigrette, sour taste to it. I like of a salty seasoning taste, all that extra. And that's exactly why I wanted 1/4 lb...

When you first pass this place, you have no idea what to expect, but the reality is that it is really good.I have eaten here twice now and the food is really good. They serve boiled and fried seafood and po boys. The first thing I got here was fried cracklins which were amazing. Sure, it's not health food, but every once in a while I like to go "food slummin'". The second time I went, some friends and I got some crabs and crawfish that were fresh and amazing. It's the perfect thing to pick up when you are getting a group of friends together for a football game or something.I will definitely be back. I have yet to try one of their po boys, so that is definitely on the "to do" list.

This is one of the several places I went to check out for seafood this weekend. The people who run this place seemed friendly enough to me. Although the lady I had talked on the phone was friendly she seemed kind of stressed. I guess with all the influx of orders for crawfish for Easter time I imagine that it would be stressful so I guess I understand that one. When I asked her if they would have any crawfish for sale this was her response,"maybe". She informed me that I would have to give her my name and telephone number so that they could call me if they had any. I did but the whole "maybe" factor prompted me to find crawfish elsewhere. I want a "definite" and not just a "possible".I did come here one day for lunch and I had a shrimp PoBoy. I will admit that it was very good. I will keep this place around as an option for PoBoy sandwiches. In short this is a good place to pick up a PoBoy but not that great for live seafood.

I've had cracklins up and down. Louisiana and NOBODY makes's cracklins like DANNY & BONNIE'S! I stop here every year I visit. I try to have it every other day. I eat the skin, and my honey eats the fat and meat. They are the best and they make them fresh when you order it. That spice and tartness make's it so yummy!
