Dance Quarter has a new floor Very danceable I hope they are able to keep the floor in good condition so we can have more dance socials In the past other non dancing parties would leave food and beverages on the floor and the floor became sticky It's a very nice place Go early to get a good spot to dance

I took one tango class so far, and it was great! My partner and I learned so much in just one class. We will definitely come back for a whole session. I really liked the teacher. Front desk woman was pretty snarky and didn't ask for vaccine cards in 2021 after I messaged them ahead of time to see if they require them (they said yes, then did not require them).

This is such a great rentable space with lots of light and big windows and mirrors. Most people rent this spot to practice dancing, but I recently had a photo shoot here it was the perfect area to convert into a quick studio. They let you rent the rooms by the hour and I love the open area of the room, the abundance of natural light and all of the space we had to work with. The staff here has always been nothing but kind to me whenever I have found myself here. There is a small kitchen space downstairs with a few snacks and coffee, if you plan on being here for a while.

Dance Quarter is a haven for dancers in the New Orleans area, especially those of us who thought our dancing days were far behind us, left way back in our high school glory days. If that's what you think, how wrong you are! Get yourself over to Dance Quarter and check out their schedule. There's something for every dancers taste- Tango, Salsa, West Coast Swing and much more. It's even the home of the Les ReBelles dance troupe which takes on the vintage dance styles like the Charleston, GoGo and Can Can and infuses them with a French Twist - all to celebrate the empowerment of women. The 4 studios in the 2 story building are large and well lit and are available for rental for any type of artistic endeavor; from dancing to performance art rehearsal space, photo shoots and more! The owners and staff are super friendly and live to be creative. They may even inspire you to rent their space for something you wouldn't have considered. I've even been to a wedding reception there! Parking can be a bit of an obstacle some nights but that's just because the word is out that Dance Quarter has a lot going on. Check it out sometime their motto is "If you can walk, you can Dance!".

I came to dance, dance, dance, danceI hit the floor cause that's my plans, plans, plans, plans...This place is pretty awesome. I initially came for their Christmas party and had such a great time I decided to take a dance class. I have no dance experience other than my club days... They offer quite a few different classes during the week, all at reasonable prices. Call them or go online for the current classes, as they change throughout the year. I believe there are four different studio rooms, each of a different size. All are clean and well maintained. But what I like the most is that the owners are really friendly as are the people that take classes. Apparently there is a dance community in NOLA that I never knew about. Glad I know now. I'm hooked and want to get my dance on!

Ok I'm an athletic trainer with two, maybe three, left feet. My finacee can dance so we came here to "fix me" for a wedding dance. I was nervous because I never had a dance lesson before. In 45 minutes Katarina took me from stumbling to "holy cow I can dance." She has amazing patience and the trainer's eye... she can see the problem and offer 3, 4, 5 different ways to help you get the move. Words cannot describe how grateful and appreciative I am. This place rocks.

I took the Swing and Salsa class here, and both were excellent! If you're interested in learning how to dance or just looking for something fun to do I definitely recommend this place!

Their address is actually 1719 Toledano, between Carondelet and Baronne.Great, simple space. You walk through the double doors and into the cafe space. It's well stocked and they even serve hot food, like crepes for example. The day I went, I was going for choreography, though, so I had to bypass the cafe. I'll definitely try it next time I'm in, now that I know it's there. The dance space itself is well-lit and a very good size, deep and not too narrow. There are sitting areas on both the right and left as you walk into the room. The floor was decent to dance on, not too sticky or too smooth. The only thing I would have liked it more mirrors on the walls.

Love It! I'm thrilled to have so many options for dance in the city now and Dance Quarter is a great addition. There are at least 4 studios varying in size. Class variety is great. I personally love Dance Trance, but would like to try out some of their partner dancing sessions and Hip Hop. They offer space for private events, and have a wonderful cafe. Some of the floors can be a bit slippery, but I'm guessing this will change over time. Great Space!
