This was a small place that served mostly Southern traditional dishes. The service was appreciated, and the food came out in a timely manner.I went with the Cajun Spicy Gumbo ($17.45?). It was prepared with chicken, shrimp, and hot sausage. It was served with rice and a biscuit. This was nicely done. There were plenty of pieces of protein and the gumbo had tons of flavor. I would have liked a little more rice present to soak up the liquids, but not a big deal. The best component was the biscuit. It was just so flaky and buttery. It was definitely one of the best biscuits I ever had. I also tried the shrimp and grits. This was pleasant too as the shrimp was flavored and cooked well. There was a seasoning that really stood out to me but could not pinpoint what exactly what it was. The grits were cooked and extremely cheesy. Will I go back? Yes.

This is a solid staple around the quarter. The place is open 24/7 and they serve breakfast and gumbo at 6am. It is a pretty good menu for an all night place. The servers sit at a table nearby waiting for drunk people or hung over people to shuffle in. I have been on both sides of that coin and have wondered in here. If you are looking for fancy breakfast, this ain't it. If you are drunk or hungover, this is a great spot. The food is always tasty and hot. The coffee was certainly flowing that day, I think the server offered up refills of coffee no less than 6 times. I am so appreciative of the staff and the cooks at Daisy Dukes who help me survive another fun night in the Quarter.

Loved the hospitality during the meal here! I would come back here for breakfast again. Shrimp and grits: 10/10 the grits were made to perfection, the cheese added a nice flavor to it, and pairing it with the salty shrimp was amazing. Granted it was my first time trying grits and it was not disappointing. It was a hearty breakfastGumbo: 10/10 my favorite gumbo out of all the places I've tried during my trip at nola. It was packed with so much flavor and comforting

Waited 25 minutes on a Saturday brunch time. Ambiance is nice; humid inside. Husband had brunch burger I requested fish and grits. Nothing to complain about, nothing to brag about.

this review is for the bloody mary, which was spectacular and ordered from the side window on the go. however, how can a place with a FANTASTIC bloody mary not have great food? i'm sure it's food. and i lament not eating there. but the line was kind of long and we wanted to walk. need to come again and fully eat and drink but for now, i highly recommend the bloody mary. it's the only place in the whole trip we came twice to.

Daisy Dukes was our last brunch spot before leaving the Big Easy and it did not disappoint!! It's a quaint & cozy spot. Our server was supper friendly & made us feel right at home! I had the shrimp & grits while others in my group opted for the chicken & waffles & the blackened fish platter. Everything was delish!!! The shrimp & grits & fried green tomatoes were some of the best that I've ever had! This place is definitely worth a visit!

Second time here this location. My order was not as good as last time we ate here. The quality of the meal seemed to drop since our last visit. Ok, let's go. My eggs seemed very dry. My hash browns were definitely over cooked and crunchy dry. The biscuit was ok. My GF like the shrimp po boy was good and I had the gumbo and it to was good. The ambience was on the darker side with a good ole New Orleans flare style paintings on the walls. Our waitress was very nice and informative. She knew the menu (17 years there). She was nice to all the tables she went to. I'm on the WALL on this one guys. Our first time visit the food was great this trip the food was Nor here, Nor there. Our New Orleans tour guide spoke about a lot of the original Bourbon St / French Quarters restaurants have been sold to new owners and kept names. Tourists don't know difference (ie Cafe Du Monde all new owners except the main park location- original owner per guide).I will try one more time. Stay tuned to see how it ends...And always,Bon Appetite!

Tried this restaurant on my trip to New Orleans. The food is delicious out here. We had chicken & waffles and Homemade Pancakes which were tasty. Our server Lisa was super polite, attentive and warm. The ambiance was chill. I would definitely recommend this place!
