D & S Tamales

These are the absolute best tamales and burritos that this area has to offer. Not giving them a try would be a huge mistake. The Messina family loves them!

I drove all the way from Mobile,Alabama just to have deer tamales made from this place . They are awesome. It is definitely worth the drive. My uncle gets dear tamales from this place and he had brought me some when he came to visit, I've been hooked on them ever since. They also make burritos which I have never had but next time I will try them if I have extra meat. other information to know :1.bring your own meat2.You must have at least 14.lbs of meat3.call for hours as they don't fill orders everyday.4. phone number 985-876-0020

The tamales are delicious. They do have a minimum order but that do to the fact they have a recipe to maintain a consistent product. Definitely good people to work with.
