Crescent City Helicopters

I have taken two tours from Crescent City Helicopters. Once on my own in 2010 and when I came back with the rest of my family I made sure we went up again. The view from above New Orleans is wonderful: the packed crowds of the Jazz Festival, the Mississippi River's winding turns through the city and swamps, the city skyline and the Superdome. On my solo helicopter tour they removed the door to the copter so I could get even better photos. When my wife went along the doors stayed on. Our pilots were informative, friendly and we felt safe the entire time. They operate their helicopters out of New Orleans Lakefront Airport (KNEW) from the Flightline First's gate.

Wow!!! What an amazing experience! My boyfriend surprised me for my Birthday with a Helicopter tour of the city. We are both locals and this is one of the coolest things I have ever done in New Orleans. Zack was our pilot. He was very professional, friendly, and informative. Our flight took of at 5:45pm so we got to see the city with day light and at night. I definitely recommend doing this!!!! My wife and I had a phenomenal trip-right at sunset!The pilot could not have been better showing us all around greater New Orleans. New Orleans' Lakefront Airport and the private facilities are top notch. Jim and his pilots do a great job showing you around with perfect timing for a sunset landing back at the airport. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!
