This is the largest of the local farmers markets run by CCFM. Parking can be a challenge so prepare to do some walking. Besides produce, there are usually baked goods and other homemade items. There are also meat and seafood providers usually. Additionally they have been hosting some recycling on site as well.Market tokens can be purchased but vendors usually except cash or online payment and even credit card sometimes. I miss the market on Saturdays since that was more convenient to me but Sunday is certainly popular too. Check the CCFM instagram to see what's been available.

Oh man. I love how New Orleans is finally grasping the concept of Farmer's markets liken in other cities. Each time I go, I always find something new. I hope that our Farmer's markets will continue to expand with more vendors. Supporting small businesses rock! I would give the market itself 4.5 stars. There is a small, but a nice variety of vendors that offer produce, prepared foods, plants, meats and seafood. I give the location of the market a 3.75, mainly due to the fact that parking was kind of a disaster for me. I have no issues with parallel parking, but it was kind of hard to look for decent street parking near the market. (You know how petty the New Orleans Parking enforcement can get. Maybe the market can mark more areas off or put more signs up to give a little more directions for parking for the newbies? I also love the fact that you can browse online to make a pickup order, but this is also the con. It is mainly my fault because I did not read it on the ordering website, but I found it a little inconvenient to have to walk around to each vendor to pick up each order I made. (Of course because I am a complicated woman, I ordered from 7 different vendors. LOL. I looked like a mad, crackhead woman bouncing from tent to tent trying to frantically read my phone, run around, and balance all the bags I was collecting.) The vendors are super nice and helpful so that made this a fun experience. TIPS:1. Find parking as close as you can get to walking distance of the market. Street parking on the side of Navarre Ave and Marconi will be the closest you can get.2. Do bring your own wagon/carts, bags or coolers, as you might have a ton of stuff to carry back and forth.3. Online Ordering: If you have time to print out your order, you can us it as a checklist to navigate to each vendor to pick your order up instead of frantically checking your phone.5. Have lots of fun. All the vendors are super friendly. :)

Food = high quality. Excellent venue to walk around and enjoy tastes of different offerings. The vendors are friendly & courteous. The Breads R delicious. I'm not familiar with the coupons as I usually take cash to fresh markets so I have to explore next time. There's a place to drop off recycling too. Parking is on street & might get crowded. Also, be aware that vendors can run out of popular items. That's why we try to go early.
