Over charged for their service, provided incorrect diagnosis of my car, and were careless & brief. -Charged about $30 more than what I usually pay for an oil change (and i brought my own oil and filter)-Mechanics told me my engine had to be taken apart to fix a small piece inside and it would cost hundreds of dollars to do so; I took the car to two other shops after to ask the same question of why my car was making a loud noise. Both said it was not the engine but part of the steering wheel (a common problem with my make and model), once one shop fixed this the sound disappeared-I do ask a lot of questions, but the owner was curt and didn't want to take the time to talk to me, just wanted money and to get customers in & outAs a young female with out of state license plates, I felt very taken advantage of and would not recommend this shop to anyone in the city. I've had better luck on the west bank. Either way, always get a second opinion on your car in New Orleans. pro: convenient location on magazine st and quick turnaround (less than a day)

I got to say these guys came to my rescue. My 2015 Mini countryman was acting erratically, and the OBD was telling me that my battery was weak and being a occasional resident. I needed to find a place that was able to replace the battery quickly they had it done in less than four hours thanks to everybody at the shop. You know you've got a new client.!!!!

Both times I've gotten service here it has been a good experience. If you get there at about 8a.m. you will be seen that day. The prices seem reasonable too, but I'm no expert. But they definitely don't add on unnecessary charges.

I needed a flat tire repair, sunroof repair and thought I needed new tires. Kevin the owner is AWSOME. Informed me my tires do not need replacement at this time and fixed the sunroof. All in the same day and at much lower cost than I anticipated. There's a reason he's been in business for 30 years!!! Thank you guys for the help! My go to place for all future automotive needs.

been going here for years. Jeeps, Fords, VW's...they have always fixed it. Honest & straight forward with costs. have always called me with price before starting work or ordering parts. 2008 VW was a challenge cause they needed a special wrench but they got it & the job done. Love these guys!

The absolute best! Everyone there was extremely helpful and honest. You can only imagine what it's like as a female walking into an auto shop if those working there are dishonest. I can't say enough good things about Crescent City Automotive; I will recommend this excellent family-owned business to everyone I know.

They smiled and reassured that they could handle my late model land rover- i was broke like a joke so after they said it was ready I waited until my paycheck approx 2 weeks. Finally I was back on the road again so happy... 15 minutes on the expressway my land rover shut off and i barely glided to the side.. I called my mom (I am just 20 in college) she ran to get me, all the cars were going like 80mph past us on the expressway... we were both terrified waiting to get slammed into. My mom brought a friend and he started it immediately like nothing went wrong and drove it down the next exit. I went back to cresent city, i said wait a minute its not fixed- they said we changed your alternator you must have another problem and we cant detect it, I said but its doing the same thing as when i brought it... they kept our 750$ and said please go elsewhere-- as of today the land rover is still sitting by cresent because it took 200 to tow it there and 750 for their repair. were still afraid to drive it although it starts. They did not give us the original alternator when we asked. This is not my last review.... cresent... I will be doing this for a long time- i believe you should give half the money back as you know you did not fix the problem--- kerry [email protected]

Highly recommend. I was having an issue with my car during a road trip from NY to New Orleans. They got me in quickly and fixed the issue at minimal cost. Everyone was very responsive and helpful. I definitely trust them and recommend them.
