When I come into town to visit one of my top things to do is pick up a "plate lunch" and this spot did not disappoint. I ordered the smothered ribs with a side of corn and potato salad. The ribs were cooked to pure perfection. The gravy was so flavorful and meat fell off the bone. The corn and potato salad were very good too. The only thing I am not a huge fan of is that there was a bit too much vinegar in the potato salad. Other then that it was delicious! If you are passing along 1-10 through this area definitely get off and pass up all of the fast food spots and head to this gem. It's worth it

Some of the best plate lunches in town. The mac and cheese over here is ridiculous, feels like my mom packed it up with all the love in the world. Well worth every cent. Will most definitely be a regular at this place. Awesome food.

This place is great. The food is amazing, better than anywhere I have eaten in the NOLA area. Try it before you hit up the swamp
