Creative Dance & Music Studio

Creative Dance Studio is a wonderful place for young dancers to grow and thrive. My daughter attends for ballet, tumbling, and jazz, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The classes are led by two dedicated teachers and an assistant, all of whom are incredibly kind and supportive.One of the standout aspects of this studio is its structure--classes start and end on time, making it easy to plan around. The instruction is both engaging and disciplined, creating a perfect balance between learning and fun. Plus, with two beautifully organized recitals each year in May and December, students get a chance to showcase their progress in a professional setting.If you're looking for a dance studio that prioritizes skill development, structure, and a positive environment, I highly recommend Creative Dance Studio!

I wanted my toddler to participate in some sort of movement activity, whether that be dance or even taekwondo (which she did not enjoy). We attended the open house back in July and was given a tour and was provided an explanation of the activities (both tap and ballet will be practiced) in the class, as well as the events for the year. The studio is extremely clean, well lit and the staff are super nice. My little girl enjoys her classes, which is relatively well priced per month for the lessons. I do find that the products are on the pricier end, since all dancers must wear branded items, but it makes since for a unison front. They also have an annual recital and that comes at a price as well. Things do add up from all the wardrobe, photos, and recital.

We love this studio and have been a part of it for 10 years. Teachers are very nice and friendly. Communications with parents are great. It's hassle free with each competition or recital. The studio plan out and handle everything for me. I just bring my children here and watch them enjoy themselves.

Time to update the review, since it has been 3 years. My little one is now a dance pro (well, maybe not, but she loves going to dance each week). The staff is always helpful and friendly. They recently merged the 2 former studios into one massive, awesome studio at the corner of Manahattan and Lapalco. Next to PJs, which will become a weekly habit now. The new space has 2 dance rooms, 2 music rooms, and a huge parent seating area.All in all, a great place for kids dance (and music) lessons on the Westbank!

My daughter attends CD&MS for music lessons and we are more than thrilled over how talented and awesome her instructor Jeanne-Marie is. She loves attending classes and noticeably improves after each session. My only issue with the school is that it is difficult to hear the music lessons going on when the dancers come in. It simply gets too loud. Obviously, their focus is dance and that is understandable. So there is no complaint there. The staff as a whole is quite friendly and easy to talk to.

My daughter has taken piano and voice lessons with Ms. Jen for 5 years. She has always been very patient with my daughter. My daughter loves her lessons and Ms. Jen. Great studio! Awesome teachers!

This place is awesome. The staff is friendly, everyone who enrolls is nice and community focused, and we all look out for the dancers and musicians, no matter whose kid is whose. Pricing is affordable, teacher care and eager to discuss improvement. I say all of this knowing my kid is a handful and very willful. She tried to dive off the stage during winter recital. Whether your kids are timid or outgoing, they are happy to teach.

Very friendly instructor. The baby the hell out the toddlers. It is a challenge with all these toddlers with a meltdown. I would certainly flip out. Lol

Creative Dance & Music studio has been my daughter's second home for seven years. The teaches and staff put their all into each student to help them success. They have taught my daughter to grow not only as a beautiful young lady but also as an amazing dancer. We can't wait to see what the next year has in store.
