This place is amazing. I love creating my own soup.I went here with a friend of mine and did not know what to expect. I was in shock that I had to create my own meal, but when I did, it was truly amazing. There are little robot guys that come and bring your appetizer they are so cute. I love the little soft music that it plays as it walks through the Restaurant. Also, love that you have several choices in broth to choose. You will not be disappointed.I went a week later with my husband. He enjoyed it as well.

Really great deal and bang for your buck.My friend and I came for lunch. Lots of choices from broth, noodles, veggies, and seafood this place is awesome!! Seriously, clams, mussels, shrimp, blue crabs, frog legs, squid - so many options!! We were very impressed.Casual vibe, lots of tables and booths and even some private rooms. The host, who I think must be a manager or owner was very friendly and explained the menu to us. The meat quality was ok. Liked the sauce bar a lot. I love that they have lots of fresh garlic, cilantro and sesame sauce. I wish they would have refilled out waters more than once. The gentleman at the table next to us had their server check on them multiple times but we were only checked on once because I asked at the front for water when I got up to use the restroom. I would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our time there. I docked them a star because our waiter was kind lf inattentive. We spilled a drink and had to clean it ourselves because he was no where to be found! Other than that, we had a great time. The food was delicious. I will say some lf the BBQ was seasoned heavily with what tasted like cumin, so kf you're sensitive to it, you may want to ask how it's seaslned before ordering. A pro tip is start slow. Only fix what you can eat in one portion, then go back for more. The chargrilled oysters were free for us because we had a table of 4 but normally there is a charge, and you can only get one order. The cajun broth was tasty and I love how they have the sauce recipes posted. It was worth it and we'll definitely be back.

Definitely a first! We had a group of 4, so I let the host know I was early and wait. When my friends arrived I learned we would be 8, maybe 9, maybe 10??? Oy. A walk in party of nine ahead of us was already seated in a private room so I was a little nervous as to how it would shake out, but the manager was really great and sat us in two adjacent booths separate from the rest of the dining room. The deal is thus; for 29.99 and within 90 minutes it's all you can eat. However, if you over order, you are charged $13/pound of wasted food. I believe this only applies to unboiled food and appetizers. Not positive. The fixed price includes 2 appetizers/person and a bbq item. Additional apps and bbq is charged. The options are ENDLESS. Clams, mussels, crab, shrimp, fish, lamb, pork, beef...veggies....eggs...and then on top of all that there's a sauce bar! I just started mixing stuff totally unaware there are recipes on the wall for guidance. Duh.Our server was great getting our hotpot's going, clearing our tables as we consumed insane amounts of food, and graciously separated our checks. I fully admit, our group was a bit of a hot mess. This is a very fun food experience and a great value for the selection and quantity. Sorry, no to go boxes allowed.Gratuity is automatically added and credit cards incur a 1.55 fee.Just a few housekeeping notes; there were old signs still on the wall with promos for new years and Christmas that need to go. The hostess wall has a bunch of vending machine toys on it that could also go away. A strange Dr Pepper soda machine seems out of place as well. Aside from these odd eyesores the space is neatly designed for comfort and the boil bar and sauce bar are meticulously labeled.

This restaurant has a very unique format, and is a little overwhelming. It is a one price buffet, and the buffet consist of three waves. First, order from an appetizer menu. Each order is approximately two pieces, and you can order as many appetizers as you want (and as often as you want). Next, you can order from a BBQ menu. Again, you can order as many items as you want initially, but you can only order a second round from this list. The third wave is the hot pot, where each diner has their individual bowl. You get to choose from several different broths. Your bowl is where you cook and enjoy ingredients from a long buffet bar and freezer. The ingredients include fresh vegetables, frozen dumplings, seafood, and frozen meats.Confused? We dined with some family members who have been here before. I would have been confused and really intimated by the whole process without their guidance. We had a large group that was able to try most of the items on the appetizer and BBQ menus. My favorites appetizers were the kimchi, fried chicken wings, and dumplings. The BBQ items are served on skewers, and gillled. I really preferred these over the appetizers. I really enjoyed the beef bulgogi, spicy beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, and mushroom.I ordered the beef broth. The hot pot ingredients bar is amazing as it has everything you could image. There are fresh vegetables, noodles, dumplings, and tons of fresh seafood. The adjacent meat freezer contains thin rolls of beef, pork, and chicken that are frozen. Cooking the various items are a little challenging because everything cooks as different speeds. Honestly, ensuring all the raw meats are thoroughly, and not cross-contaminating cooked with raw items made me nervous about this hot pot format. In conclusion, dining here takes a while and is a lot of effort. But it is a fun experience with lots of food.

For being the only Hot Pot in South Louisiana, it wasn't terrible. The selection is pretty good. BBQ was really tasty, and so were the broths! I made my own using the sauce bar, and my friend had the Tom Yum which was AMAZING. It was also decently priced. The pudding in the back was melted when it looked like it should have been refrigerated, not sure if that was purposeful. The service for our table was good, but the workers stood in the front visibly arguing about tables or on their phones. The robots were bumping into the staff and customers- 3 robots is quite a few to have on the floor compared to hot pots in Orlando. The biggest issue that I had was the women's bathroom was filthy. One stall had no lock, while the other had the head of the mop leaning against the toilet (I hope the mop won't be used again, depending on how long it's been sitting there). It smelled like cats. All cleaning supplies were directly on the floor as well. The food is what you make of it (like most hot pots), but it was a little dirty and too disorganized for me to return.

I had heard lots of interesting things about this spot so I resolved to schedule a visit. The robot waiters had been quite a talking point but I found them underwhelming as they were more a delivery machine than a waiter. A real weak point was the lack of a good drink selection with no unsweetened iced tea or hot tea. It was a generally interesting experience but overall I enjoy Korean BBQ a lot more. I would enjoy a bowl of Pho or Thai food a LOT more and at a much cheaper price. Overall it was entertaining for one visit but I wouldn't feel the need to return as it just didn't seem like a good value. My video review of Crazy Hotpot is here:https://youtu.be/8F5Nahn0CQ8
