Crazy Al's Bar

These crabs are so good. The place is off the beaten path but so worth the drive on Wednesday nights. Not only are there $10 all you can eat boiled crabs but you can purchase corn, potatoes or a hot dog all while drinking your beverage of choice (mine is a corona with a lime). They are seasoned well and taste great. There is karaoke that you can listen too or participate in. Some are pretty good. If nothing else try it once, I go whenever I'm free.

This was an odd little stop on our Cruising the Coast adventure. Drink prices were reasonable, and there is definitely ample space for those travelling in a large group. However, as another reviewer noted, this is definitely a small town bar. If you are looking for excitement and a happening atmosphere, this just isn't the place. I noted that they do seem to have some fun events like crab boils and live music, but I suspect the crowd is tight knit though not impolite. The gentlemen sitting at the bar when we walked in were well-mannered though a little reserved. The most interesting part of the bar is actually the bathroom. Someone spray painted the stalls to feature a wood grain and knot pattern with faces and eyes integrated into the scheme. It's pretty impressive, though maybe a little awkward when you are trying to do your business.

Terrible bar. Unfriendly people, pool tables are hidden in the back, bar area is bleak and depressing. If you are a long-time regular you'll be treated well, otherwise expect to be ignored or looked at with hostility.
