Tod and Jason are heaven sent! No, truly.. I feel so blessed to finally have my car back and fully operational after sitting in my garage for 9 months! After a repair job done back in December 2023 your technician solved the case in a matter of less than 10 minutes. The original repair shop simply forgot to plug something in. The dealer wanted to charge me over 7k to replace a transmission that wasn't even bad! Your shop gives me faith in humanity and makes me realize that there still are honest people in this world. I can never thank Tod and Jason enough for this. Tears of joy! I owe them a hug! I know who to go to from now on. I don't know what led me to contact you guys but I'm sure glad I did. I will come to you and refer you guys to anyone I know. 10/10 I highly recommend!

I now know that I had been spoiled being from the Midwest and growing up in a city where you can throw a stone and hit a damn good mechanic. It's something I value much more now in my life but you live and you learn. Its been some time, years, since I brought my old Dodge here for transmission work. But there are only two kinds experiences that stick out as unforgettable. When everything is great and goes right and when when everything goes bad and is abysmal. Well Cottoman certainly isn't great and they're expensive to boot.So if you want to drive a car out of a garage and have it towed back, then Cotton is for you.

Cottman comes through again!! Had some car trouble over the weekend that led me to autozone for a new batttery. It had been about 7 years since the last one and the ice cream scoop sized dome of blue corrosion meant it was finally time. However, during the install, the young, inexperienced tech broke a grounding wire resulting in my car to be stranded in the parking lot until Monday. After towing to Cottman and thinking I needed a new starter, turned out it was JUST that skinny wire that they were able to strip/strengthen and clamp so that the car would actually start! I had my vehicle back in under three hours and was able to drive myself to work! These guys are GREAT GUYS. They were honest and didn't take advantage of me which I couldn't appreciate more!! Next time I have any issue, I'm going straight there and you should too.

Man these guys are great I came in with a car situation that was something they don't really handle. But as a courtesy they help resolve my problem with no hesitation. So I didn't have anything done with the type of service they provide. But they will definitely get my service if I ever do need them. You want your car taken care of with people of great character and professional. Thanks again guys for your help.

Fuck these guys they completely fucked me over they come so highly recommended, but they didn't do shit for me and had my truck for like four months. Fuck them.

I brought my car to Cottman Transmission they very friendly an did a great job on my Jeep. I would recommend them highly an affordable. Thank you for making me feel special.

Best/worse experience ever w/ an auto shop. thought i had a transmission issue. as i was greeted and explained the condition of the vehicle to Todd when this bald head guy starts w/ doom and gloom that i need a whole new transmission before he does the diagnostic(free-thats how i got there). he comes back and repeats doom and gloom till Connor MacGregor(jason) yells did you even drive it? At this time i was already out the door! baldies attitude had me where i didn't want to use this shop for anything! - the worse!The Best- Jason drove it, found it was motor mounts needed. no new transmission Mr. Baldy! i didn't know they did anything else but transmissions. Todd and Jason handled me and my vehicle with great professionalism and not a meal ticket! rare in New Orleans. go see Todd and Jason and by all means AVOID the bald head guy.

after living in new orleans for 6 years i finally found My shop. between todd's amazing communication and working with my schedule and jason actually walking me through the parts needed and showing me the damage to the old parts i left this place feeling very grateful and confident i received quality work at a very reasonable price! not to mention nips washing my car before i went to pick her up!!! top tier service

Worst experience ever, had two vehicles serviced and both had to get additional work from another provider. Wouldn't recommend to repair a bicycle

Could not be happier with the service at Cottman. They were able to repair my car for much cheaper than the first place I went and we're so kind. Less than 24 hour hours later my car was fixed and I was on my way.
