Service was great and the drinks were strong. It's a bit more bar than restaurant in a very touristy neighborhood, but the food was good and the prices reasonable. My wife loved the Red Beans and Rice, but my pasta was just alright. The oysters were excellent!

Hm, not sure why such low reviews. Food was good, great portion size, and service was good also. Fair pricing. It was my first day in NOLA and wasn't feeling adventurous, so I ordered a blackened chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. Decor is a little worn and outdated, but it looks like a great place to grab a drink and watch the game.

Just got into town and needed a snack and drink. We were seated immediately, and our server was quick to come see us. I don't recall her name, but she was such a sweet woman. We got a bloody Maria and the fried green tomatoes topped with fried shrimp and remoulade. The seasoning on the tomatoes and shrimp was perfect! Also perfectly fried. Just the right amount to hold us over until dinner. Next time we are in town I'll definitely be back for another Bloody Maria and some shrimp.

Overall, I don't see why this is rated so low. Service was great (thanks, Sherwin.) Tables were clean. Food was outstanding. Seafood gumbo was great, grilled shrimp on point, roast beef was unreal, had the chargrilled oysters too. Although the oysters themselves were a bit on the small side, flavor and cook was excellent. Can't complain about the price, because everything is expensive as hell in the French Quarter. Overall, nicely done, Corner Oyster House.

OMG! When I say the food was amazing, I mean it was freakin amazing! Hands down the best food I've had in New Orleans! Service was amazing, very friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in! Dee dee was an excellent server! We will definitely go back while we're in town. The ambiance was super chill, didn't feel like we had to dress or act a certain way to fit in. It felt like home!

We've eaten at probably every place in Nola. Been coming here for 26 years, every Thanksgiving. Never stopped here until today. Everything we had was great. The "That burger", awesome!! Best burger I've had and I've been around. Alligator bites were awesome. Gumbo...my wife said it's better than hers, I can't agree, but it was very good. Fried Cheese, great! Jambalaya was great! Honestly, I don't get the low review stars. Great location. Great food. Great service. Chris, our waiter, busted his ass to give us a memorable experience!!

Wait!!! I don't understand why this place has such a low rating?! Normally I would never consider places with this low of a rating but only came because a close friend suggested it. I had a wonderful solo date here. Knew I wanted a poboy and my server James said they were all really good but he loves the catfish. So I went with his favorite! It was my first time getting a catfish poboy (I usually get shrimp) and it's exactly what I wanted and needed in my life lol. I didn't even wanna cut it because it was that visually appealing to me. The fish was flaky, tender and fried perfectly. The remoulade sauce a nice touch and MORE than enough fries accompanied it. Idk how I managed to eat it all but I physically couldn't and wouldn't stop until I devoured it all. The icing on the cake was I somehow found the space to try their bread pudding. It was warm, spongy and the right amount of caramel/cinnamon. Everything complimented each other nicely. Couldn't button my pants after but all was worth it. Every server I saw was attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic and made fresh. Didn't get a drink but the bartender looked like she was having fun. Prices were fantastic considering its location. Give this place a try! I'm glad I did. Special shout-out to James for making my solo wandering worthwhile! :)

Amazing! Food was incredible, true New Orleans style dishes. I've been here many time, but they really went above and beyond today. Accommodating 8 of us last minute. All co workers agreed it was best gumbo and chargrilled oysters , they had all week! Thanks Dale and team for amazing experience. Also the location is best in city.
