I think this might be my last visit to Claiborne Hill. The deli employees were rude to me and told me to take my mask off to ask a basic question. They then said they didn't sell half chickens when they had them for sale last week. Three guys were laying on the floor in the produce area trying to fix broken equipment. A wall was knocked down in the deli. The building is falling apart. The aisles are so cluttered that someone needs to call Hoarders.

I have been shopping at Claiborne Hill since we moved to Picayune 23 years ago. I always thought it was the best grocery store around. Unfortunately in the past couple of years it has really declined in quality and customer service. The seafood Dept used to be a real star now they don't properly store their fish in the display case so it gets dried out and begins to stink. The produce used to be good now you absolutely have to check the expiration date. The managers I have interacted with are way to inexperienced and have 0 customer service skills. The store has an oder to it that is unpleasing like spoiled meat and fish. We have switch our primary shopping to Slidell and only do spot shopping at Claiborne Hill. I hope someone at Aquistapace reads this and gets the problems fixed. I would prefer to support a local store.

A little concerned about your mest prices. I found a couple rib eyes today that were marked differently. One for 7.99 a lb., another for 9.99 a pound. I wanted these two rib eyes, so I went ahead and bought them, but before paying I asked both girls on the register as well as the manager on duty why there was a difference, and if they'd honor the 7.99lb price. They were completely unknowlagable about why they were off, and kept pointing out the weights. The weights are how much each ribeye was cut as, not on the price per lb. As a regular customer, I feel slighted, and a bit angry. Saving a buck would have meant a lot more to me and my intentions for my future purchases, however yall lost me tonight. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere in the future. Disappointed customer right here, with an uneducated staff that makes it easier to take my business to a more professional grocer.

Deli Dept. is great. Best sandwiches in town. Meat selection is better then Walmart and the prices are reasonable.

there are nice and helpful employees at claiborne hill, but also non customer oriented incompents. i purchased avocados and was charged charged 3/$1, when they were 5/$1. two legit choices for cashier, either correct it or ask for a price check. nope, just told they were 3/$1.then i go photograph the price and return.clearly the correct response is apologize and refund the money.nope, called a manager.i tell the manager please give me my $1.34 overcharge and instead of apologizing and refunding a buck 34, she goes to check the rpice as if i brought in a sign, taped it up, and made a big lie to get $1.34 off my bill??? when a customer is over charged and has a photo of the price, don't walk away it's an insult. claiborne hill, you are foolish. i left.you lose a customer because you make a mistake, then keep draggin it on..............enjoy your buck thiry four..........i'm shopping elsewhere

This place is awful. As soon as you walk in the store it has an odor. The produce and the meat are the only thing that's reasonably priced, and even then I'm not so adamant about purchasing it. I've seen the areas the employees work in and they are gross and nasty. The workers are great, but from what I hear greatly underpaid. The goods the store carries has a good selection, but they are all overpriced. Management is terrible as well. I've seen the management talk terribly to customers, and employees alike. The parking lot is very dangerous, and there isn't enough parking. Overall I really am displeased with the store that is the only true competitor with Walmart in Picayune; and would rate it 0 stars if I could.

I just had one of the worst experiences of my life in this store. I went to purchase groceries with my autistic son about 15 minutes ago at this location. The cashiers are horrible and apparently not in favor of black customers coming to their workplace. A white woman shoved my autistic son out of the way with a cart. I did not say anything because I truly felt that the supervisors would not defend me nor my child. Long story short; Claiborne Hill is not a store for blacks. Frankly, a lot of growth and development is needed. I thought I was an American until I felt the hard reality of being southern and black. I will NEVER shop there again. They should rename the store Discrimination Hill.
