We have been on quite a few hop on hop off bus tours and NOTHING has been better than my experience with Mary R & Demetra. So much awesome information and very entertaining. When we paused at a stop and I learned they were getting off and we'd have a new guide, I was quite disappointed. I had to get off to tell her how much I enjoyed my first trip to NOLA with such a great guide! Thank you, Mary!!!

We love doing this kind of tour to get the lay of the land and see a new city. I found the staff for this tour particularly kind and helpful and friendly. This was the first time we actually had a live tour guide vs a prerecorded earphone kind of tour during a hop on hop off tour. They gave us some good tips on what to see and do around town. This tour has gotten rather pricey. For a twoday ticket and using it as transportation, it's a good value. We should have packaged it with our VUE Orleans ticket to get a better price but we didn't. I would recommend this as a newcome to NOLA but would not do it a second time.

We got the 2-day hop-on hop-off bus tour plus the Garden district walking tour in New Orleans. The bus tour guides varied in their narratives, sometimes the sound was hard to hear (too low or too muffled) but some were clear and informative. The best part was The Garden district walking tour which was totally worth it. We had Colin Tyler as our tour guide and he is awesome, enthusiastic and outstandingly knowledgeable knowing a ton of local history and stories. I would rate him as one of the best tour guides I have ever had in my life!

I purchased a 3 day pass that came with 2 walking tours. We only went on the Garden District walking tour. Our guide, Colin, was great and so funny! I could have listened to him all day. The hop on and off bus was very convenient to get from one end to the other, but have to have patience to listen to the tour guide more than once.

No Line Linda and Dimitria were our first and longest ride, and they were excellent! Most of the stops were very conveniently located and well marked. Each different guide had a few unique facts to add to the basic spiel, but Linda had a ton of information. I like how there is a live person to answer questions and not just a recording like other companies. The three day pass is a great deal if you use it as transportation too. The French quarter walking tour was just ok. Not a friendly guide for that one. We didn't have time for the other tour. The places they suggest really are rated some of the best in the city. I'd do this again!

Our tour guide, Colin, for the walking tour of the garden district was terrific! He was knowledgeable about the history, background, and "flavor" of the city. He was funny, and entertaining as he showed us the beautiful architecture of the garden district. He also provided us with food and entertainment suggestions that really rounded out our first time visit to this great city.

We took a few different buses during our trip, and all of them were great, but Logan as our tour guide was by far the best! He made the experience truly memorable. It's definitely a fantastic way to explore the city!

The 3 of us were in New Orleans for the first time and only had 1 day to explore the beautiful historical city (before jumping on a cruise the next day). We thought this would be a great way to do it! We used the Hop On/Hop Off pass on 1/31/2025. Buses starts at 9:30am with last bus pick up at 4pm. We went to Stop #16 at the Convention Center Door E (as noted on website) near the Riverwalk. We sat at the park bench across the street with direct view of the stop. The website says it's supposed to come every 25-30 minutes and it's been awhile. I went on their website to see if we were at the correct place and website said we were. Another 15-20 min passed, so I used the chat on their website to see if I can get an update on the bus' ETA. The AI alerted me that there was an app with Live updates. I downloaded the app. App showed all the buses on route! Cool! I saw one coming our direction but it made an abrupt turn away from us and was BEHIND us and got further away from the stop that was in front of us. It turns out, the Stop had moved temporarily due to construction without any notice or signage on location, on their website, or app. We had wasted almost an hour before finding the new temporary location on the other side of the park. Since we were facing and looking AT the convention so we didn't miss the bus, we didn't notice the bus passing behind us at the new temporary location! Instead of waiting another 25 min, we walked to Stop #10, which had a slightly shorter wait time.Stop #10 also had a new temporary location but at least this one had a paper taped to the sign stating new location around the corner. Finally, we were able to get on a bus! It was ~12pm/12:30 by now with all this messing around. The guide was very informative but then got a little political and personal. We got off at the Fleurty Girl Stop #13. Cute store and area! We got back on the bus at the same Stop after an hour or so and we were able to sit on the top deck this time. I was 2 rows in front of the guide but I could not hear anything he was saying. It may be a combination of low mic volume, mouth further away from mic, turning head/mouth away from mic, and/or the people behind us having their own conversation. But the view was beautiful! We got off at Stop #2 French Market. (We noticed Stop #1 wasn't where it was advertised either because I started to take notice of the accuracy of the stops.) But we weren't able to use the pass more than twice since the last pick up (noted online anyway) is at 4pm so we walked back from French Market to DoubleTree Hotel. I bought it through Groupon for $46 (same price as the website, promo codes don't work). I let Groupon know of the horrible experience but all they said was "sorry, it's non-refundable", but here's $20 Groupon bucks.RECAP/Final thoughts:Their website listed some highlights at each stop BUT THEY ARE NOT LISTED IN THE APP for some reason, so we've had to toggle back and forth between website and app to see which stop we wanted to get off. (The fact that they went to all of these places was why we wanted to get this pass, to cram as much as we can in one day!)$46 x 3 adults = $138 (before taxes)IF we didn't have so much time wasted missing buses, IF we could hear the bus guide, and IF the buses ran later into the night, I might say it is worth it. But with all the inconveniences of looking for the correct stop (but you would need to know that you have to look for a new temporary stop) and waiting for the buses to come, it would honestly be cheaper & more convenient to just get a Lyft/Uber! They would drop you off door to door! With Super Bowl coming up next week, I can see tourists thinking this is a great idea...and it might have been if the stops were labeled correctly at the physical locations, on their website, AND on the app. But until then, no, it's a huge headache, waste of time, and money!
