It was a lovely spot for Sunday early lunch! INEED to go again and enjoy the good morning Vietnam beverage! Service was spot on, drinks were amazing, I usually take a box to go but I opted to enjoy my entire plate and skip next meal bc the flavors hit so hard. I'm generations Louisiana, we all have our favorite shrimp/grits spot..... I added a new one- CITY PORK, I'm happy to claim it as a shrimp and grits loca- bc they deserve it. It's not always done correct or correct to my taste buds but portion size, elements of flavor, creamy level. ALL HIT

We visited City Pork during restaurant week and the food was delicious and service top notch. The place was full but not overcrowded for a Saturday lunch. The bacon praline bread pudding was amazing! It was the star of the meal along with the smoked pork belly tonkatsu. The salmon saltine appetizer was very generous in size that we brought home some of our entrees because we were getting full after finishing it off.

We had our company clinic Christmas party here. It was smaller than I realized. Not a bad thing though. We had 12 in our group, and our waitress did an amazing job with us! She was very nice. I had the bbq pulled pork nachos. They were very good. I loved the house made chips! We enjoyed ourselves very much!

To start off the server Nadea w. Was so attentive she made sure we had plenty to drink and they had everything we needed.. the food was amazing a wide selection on the menu to choose from the price is very reasonable so for a great meal and excellent service I highly recommended city pork Jefferson

The food and service here was fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves. David was our bartender. He was very attentive and made fantastic drinks! He didn't skimp on any ingredients. The charcuterie boards are great!! I will say though, we were asked to purchase a beer for the kitchen staff ($8 for a 6 pack) which we did. Working in service myself, I think that is crazy to ask the customer to pay for that. If I was the owner, my kitchen would be taken care of by ME and I would be letting them have a cold beer after their shift...just some friendly constructive criticism from an expert in the service industry world (been in it for 25+ years). It makes you look really cheap that you can't take care of your own kitchen. Otherwise, loved this place!! That's my main critique and not directed at our bartender, directed at the owner.

The Reuben Sandwhich had more sauerkraut than corned beef.The childrens grilled cheese was served on two enormous pieces of bread (1 inch+ thick slices) with hardly any cheese to balance it out. It wasn't easy for a CHILD to eat. It was also served with an extremely hot pickle that had my toddler in tears.Maybe they should take these items off the menu or rework them

So, this review is mixed. The salmon saltine is usually my go to. I even order it to go sometimes. Tonight it didn't miss. My only complaint is the amount of avocado given, it was such a small piece and mostly brown. My friend ordered the crawfish and Brie dip. It left much to be desired. The dip was watery and lacked seasoning. The chips also tasted stale. For my entree, I ordered the schnitzel sub fries bc, why not. The schnitzel had a good flavor. The gravy was non existent. Nothing to even dip my fries in. Nothing like the pictures I saw on Yelp. I asked for more gravy and there was an additional charge. Also most of my schnitzel was raw. Maybe it was the time and night we went bc we did go at 6:45 on a Sunday night. But, that shouldn't be an excuse.

We celebrated two birthdays on Sunday 1/26 with everyone in the family, 13 people with kids and all. We were there for brunch and the entire experience was phenomenal. Our server was one of the best servers ever, sinking without pause, super efficient, accommodating, just tremendous. Her name starts with a K. The young lady manager was also excellent as our table was super ready, and the entire experience was really super fun specially with our size party and the restaurant becoming increasingly busy! Great Job and thank you!
