There not as good as they used to be they have fallen into the same practices as a lot of buffets where they put to much out of each thing when there not busy and it's cold and not very appetizing. So for the best hot food make sure the parking lot is full if not expected cold old food.

The food is good BUT the staff...not so much. They tell you the price of the dine in buffet but watch when you fix your plate, then charge you on how much you've eaten. On one occasion, my daughter was charged $6 extra because she went twice for fried shrimp. They will bird dog anyone while serving their food. Not cool..

The dinner buffet is quite good. The food is put out in smaller batches, so nothing seemed overly old. Notable: the chicken with green onions in oyster sauce was delicious, as was the chicken & broccoli. The fried shrimp and the crab Rangoon were also very good. All in all, this is the best Chinese I've had since we moved to Acadiana.Tips: They only serve potstickers at lunch. During the buffet hours they only put out fried rice, they will bring white rice out upon request.

Let me first start off by saying that Chinese food is my favorite food (nationality wise) so I've eaten at a plethora of Chinese restaurants in numerous places. That being said, THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD TO HAVE EVER GRACED MY TASTE BUDS! They rarely ever add or take away items that are on the buffet, which I like because then It's guaranteed that my favorite item will be there at all times. Plus, why try to fix something that ain't broke?! I will be very deeply saddened if this place was to ever close their doors. I would travel many, many miles to eat the food here.

Worse Dining Experience! Despicable Customer Service! Embarrassing, Insulting and Arrogant Management! Life Event/Memorable Milestone Destroyer! Took my son here today for a birthday luncheon. Arrived about 2:55 p.m. In the midst of eating our food and conversing we didn't realize that they were "transitioning" to their dinner line, so on our next trip to the buffet additional items had been place on it. Both my son and I selected small servings of some of the additional items. We return to our seats only to find that the server had placed a new ticket on our table and removed one given to us previously. I got up and asked her why did we have a new ticket with a different total than before, the server then spoke to another female (whom I assumed was her Supervisor, but have since found out is actually the Owner/Manager's wife) in their native tongue and she approaches me and says " You eat seafood?" Baffled (as there were several seafood items on the buffet before the additional items were added) I informed her that I had fixed another plate of food but hadn't eaten it yet. Her response was, "You eat seafood, you pay more. You pay dinner price now." I said, isn't it still lunch? She says, you eat lunch you pay lunch, you eat seafood you pay dinner. I told her that the server did not inform us of that, and we were not aware of it. (One would assume that if it's on the buffet then you're allowed to eat it, unless otherwise noted, right?) Then she asks, "You want to eat seafood?" and states, "You have to pay." So I said, "I have a plate at the table, do you want it back?" She says, "Yes, I take it back." At this point, I ask her, "So, you would rather take it back and throw it away?" She says "Yes!" So I walk to my table and explain to my son that we can not eat the plates we have fixed because we will charged the additional fees if we do so. I let him decide since this, after all, is HIS birthday luncheon. But of course after this not only embarrassing, but shoddy treatment (and yes, she did take the plates away) we decide to leave. As I'm checking out, the clerk states that they start switching over to dinner at 3:30. I reiterated that we were not aware of this, and the server did not inform us of it either. She just automatically charged us the additional prices. I asked her where does it state that? Pointing to their signage, I asked if IT stated that. Clearly it didn't. By this time the supervisor had walked over and I asked "who is the owner of this restaurant?" She repeats, Owner? "He not here." I said well, can I get his name and a number. She states, "I don't know." I said you don't know the owners name? She says, no, and then states "he don't have number." Of course at this point it's clear that she trying to insult my integrity. So then I ask, "well who's the Manager?" Both of them ignore me and continue to speak to each other in Chinese, Vietnamese or whatever language they speak. At this point I informed both of them that I would not be patronizing their restaurant again and that I intend to let my displeasure be known. Hence, this review. Not only were they rude, but Unprofessional as well! It's apparent by their actions and nonchalant attitudes that Customer Service is not a top priority with them and they do not value their customers. Well, I value myself, my money and my integrity and I refuse to have any of us abused or insulted. All it would have taken was a simple explanation, and/or sign, as to what their policy is. Or better still, if the patrons are not allowed to eat certain items until a particular time, DON'T PUT IT ON THE BUFFET!!! I've eaten at 100's of Asian restaurants/buffets and have NEVER encountered this!!! Besides, the food is MEDIOCRE and the Cleanliness/Sanitation is Questionable. Don't be a victim of convenience as we were. You can find much better food, a nicer/cleaner environment and friendlier people who will appreciate your patronage by traveling another 20 minutes to Morgan City, LA, 30 minutes to New Iberia, LA or 45 minutes to Lafayette, LA. Trust me, it'll be well worth it!!! I definitely will from now on!!!!
