Chopstix Buffet

I really like this place because it's only 20$ per person and it's all you can eat, I wouldn't recommend the seafood but the sushi is great, I love the stir fry and rangoons, I like how they rang from different foods and sweets, they always stuff the rangoons which I love that because most places are skimpy. It's great for the amount you're paying.

I have been working on this fun little piece about Chinese buffets being a staple of American culture, the difference in products and food styles, the nostalgic feeling of walking up to the buffet......I've eaten at several buffets around the New Orleans area for this piece. I'm going to take a little break after this location. Chopstix in Gretna.... I don't know what I ate that just made me pray to a trashcan while sitting on the porcelain god.I enjoyed my time there. The staff was friendly. The food wasn't bad.... But not the best. It definitely wasn't worth the time I just spent speaking to Jesus. I guess the nap after was nice. I won't be in again.... Even though you are close to work for me2/10 you get one for the sweet staff and the other one for putting out fresh crab Rangoon while I was there. #neveragain

I come here often and they always have fresh food. The desserts like cookies, cakes, etc. are, like at any Chinese buffet, kinda stale but that's normal. That doesn't matter to me much because I prefer the ice cream. I would like it if they had more dessert choices. I don't eat meat but the options are still pretty good. The service is not bad and they are pretty attentive most times. The prices did go up though. The quality and the menu is consistent. The inside of the restaurant is not dirty or gross looking.

The crawfish is under seasoned. So is the fried riceand chicken wings. I feel like $20 is high to eat offpaper plates and plastic utensils. But some of thefood was good.

Save your money. This place used to be decent, but no longer. The last time I went it was mediocre. This time was just bad. A lot of the dishes were very dried out despite the copious amount of grease coating everything. Dishes were lukewarm at best. $20 for one person (dinner buffet plus drink) is simply too much considering the lack of quality. There are many places on the Westbank where $20 gets you a fresh and tasty meal. The last time I was here I had basically the same experience. I decided to give them another chance, but I won't go back again. The lack of proper dishes and flatware didn't exactly add anything. I used chopsticks rather than the dinky plastic fork, but I strongly dislike eating off of styrofoam.

This is the first time I have been back here in a few years. I really enjoyed the meal. I found everything to be clean and necessary health precautions were taken. Everything was disposable (except for the cups). The buffet had disposable gloves to wear while serving. Not all of the food sections were open, to create more space for people getting their food. Everything we tried tasted hot and fresh (we went within 30 minutes of them opening). The service was prompt. I would return in the future!

Terrible food, paper plates, plastic utensils, and never really seen our waitress other than to get the check. When she charged my card it came up as a $440 charge that got declined when the original bill was only $40. Before trying my card again for the right amount the waitress laughed it off like "haha idk what happen@ when I pointed it out to u... u knew what u were doing! When I left I left wit no tip and the waitress was such in a rush to get rid of us she grabbed the receipt and said "no tip" wtf no luckily I held my composure because I damn sure won't be back! I'll take my money and service elsewhere. I have been here before and the food wasn't that terrible. What a rat hole of a shame!?! Keeping my receipts for evidence just encase they tryna pay a bill wit my card. Scammers!

Cheap Foam plates, CHEAPER Flimsy thin plastic forks !!!Average food, nothing to write home about.Service ok ??? Not impressed. 8

Plastic small fork and styrofoam plate,food was okay Place need new chair and table make it look more Chinese restaurant.

Man at door was very unprofessional we wait 5 mintues myself mother in wheelchair and sister then this man picks up plastic fork not very strong and just because I ask about forks and also he grab and touch all of them with napkins not wrap around His hands were on all of them he keeps by door he answer us with Attitude horrible.not friendly at all we all elderly my birthday also we just left .We left to go To Panda King the best friendly people clean .
