Stopped by to get tacos to go $15. The toppings included cilantro and onions and I requested to add sour cream and they charged $2 more. They didn't even put the sour cream on the tacos! The tortillas were not warmed. They were room temperature. I may have made a complaint but the staff were having a big discussion and I don't think it was helping customers. Never again!

I sat at the bar and had a delicious Top Self margarita on the rocks. The salsa and chips is good. I ordered the Enchilada Tricolor. Everything was fine. I especially appreciated the style of rice and the red enchilada sauce! Reminds me of my home state of California. We went here on Taco Tuesday for dinner. We had shrimp, steak, grilled chicken & ribeye tacos. We also started with chicken tortilla soup. It wasn't warm but our waitress was super nice and heated it up. It was filled with chicken. Dinner was very good.

Had a nice experience at Chivo's in Mandeville with a party of six for lunch on a busy Saturday. Excellent service and good chips with passable salsa and a complimentary bean dip. Wife had street tacos, which she said were very good. I had the Rosarito Grand combination plate which although generously portioned was somewhat bland. Nice bar area with multiple TVs; dining room was comfortable but with a definite strip mall ambiance. All in all a nice experience and a good place for lunch or to take in a ball game.

The daily specials are appealing. The food is good and usually quick. Be careful when substituting, as the up charges seem a little unreasonable on some things, such as $8 for 4 small shrimp.... replacing the chicken I didn't want. That only happened once, but I was shocked.

Some of the food is pretty good. They like to use a lot of meat but not much of other ingredients. Ordered a quesadilla a couple of times. Once a chicken quesadilla. They threw a small handful of cheese on the plate along with some shredded lettuce. Nothing but chicken in the tortilla that wasn't grilled at all just folded over and served like that. Next time I ordered a chorizo quesadilla to go and there wasn't anything in the quesadilla but a big pile of chorizo. No cheese no lettuce nothing else. Often the service comes with an attitude and I'm not sure why, I am a good tipper.
