China Express

I decided to give China Express a try bc they were included on a Promo I have on Uber Eats. I tried the black pepper chicken with shrimp fried rice lunch special and the shrimp egg foo young with white rice. I got both the black pepper sauce and the gravy on the side because my son hates sauces lol. Unfortunately they didn't send my egg roll, but I believe in a universe that is all about balance so they did send me the full order of chicken, instead of the lunch size so it made up for the lack of egg roll. The egg foo young was so full of cabbage and shrimp and it was fried to perfection. The gravy was also thick and the perfect color. It added the right amout of salt to the dish. The black pepper chicken is always a hit. It normally comes with onions and bell peppers but I asked them to hold it in the rice so they may have assumed I didn't want it in the chicken either. Overall, I'd definitely order from them again. I ordered online so I dk how the ambiance is but I can imagine the service is pretty good because my order came fast and was extra fresh and hot.

We got our food to go so my review is almost solely based on the food. My spouse picked it up and he said they were really nice so that always helps. We ordered what we would normally order at the other Chinese places. We have been patrons of another Chinese restaurant down the street but the quality has declined so we decided to try somewhere else (here). It was more expensive, but the portions are massive. We were able to make several meals off of what we ordered. I say this to help the next person from over-ordering. The food was fresh. Where it falls sort of flat for me is the flavor/spices. It was under-salted/bland, which was disappointing for me. So much so that I will probably pick another place when we want to order Chinese again. It wasn't bad--it was just "meh." I hope that I can change my review the next time we decide to order from here. The place is definitely worth patronizing, and maybe they were having an off night.

Very quick service. Food was very well seasoned hot and ready for pick up. Highly recommend

Take out order - 2.9 overall - No egg in the fried rice. The boneless spareribs were sub-par and weren't sufficiently cooked under a salamander to achieve a char. Sauces were flavorful though. General Tso's was okay, more of a mall sticky sugar version than a crispy version and the spice level was muted. Egg rolls were served towards the acceptable burnt end of the spectrum, and didn't have enough cabbage - okay flavor though. Noodles were super garlicky and enjoyable.

I was happy to receive a mountain of really tasty noodles!!! It was ready in ten minutes

Picked up an order last night. Service was fast and friendly. Had hot and sour soup (best I have had in BR) and shrimp lo mein which was excellent! Portions are huge!

My usual spot was closed & I was craving Chineses. This isn't my first time visiting, but this is my first review. Good, hot Chinese food that was quickly & freshly prepared.

Nina and her family are to be commended on providing classic Chinese food. Always cordial when placing an order either in person or over the phone. Food is always fresh, cooked to perfection, and ready when expected. Good to know that they always will adjust their menu to accommodate any dietary issues. Highly recommend them.

I will never eat here again in my life. This place used to be my favorite place to eat. I went one night to get some food and as the person was putting the top on my food , he starting eating my food with his mouth LITERALLY!!!! Slurping up my noodles!! How disgusting is that!! i got my refund but they lost a loyal customer.. No telling how many times they ate our food and served it to us... Just terrible!!!!
