I had the seafood gumbo. It was outstanding! I wish I had brought some home. I also had the seafood jambalaya side, and it was very good. My wife had the pork chops which she loved. Our two daughters had poboys, which were excellent.Service was excellent. Could not have been better.Whenever I am in Baton Rouge, this will be one of my regular stops.

Came in for a couple beers and so glad we ended up eating here. Go the Boudin balls, crawfish etouffe and a bowl of seafood gumbo. The boudin balls and crawfish etouffe were awesome. Seafood gumbo had great flavor but not a ton of seafood. They had a huge selection of beers and the bar tenders were really knowledgeable about them.

Great service, great atmosphere, and even better food. I ordered the boudin balls, and they came hot and tasty with a sauce that reminded me of a very subtle hot mustard or horseradish based sauce. Delicious. I then ordered the New Orleans BBQ shrimp PO-Boy and it was delicious. Very generous with the shrimp and good sizing of the sandwich as well as portion of the fries. Large selection of beer as well. Highly recommend to stop by!

Great location near LSU. Huge menu with surprisingly really good food despite it also being a great sports bar venue. Lots of big screen TVs to catch national games. It's fairly noisy, but that's too be expected given the target audience. We had boudin balls with a white sauce that had a kick of horseradish. They were yummy. Also tried crawfish and Jack cheese-topped French fries fries. That was a unique flavor twist with the potatoes. The seafood lasagna was fantastic. Large portion stuffed with shrimp, crawfish, and crab with a delicious cream sauce. Very heavy, so watch your appetizer orders!Highly recommend if you are coming to campus.Lots of creative cocktails.

Chimes is my favorite seafood restaurant in Baton Rouge. The menu features all types of seafood prepared in different ways. The menu also features other food options. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip. Instead of chips, the dish comes with fried bow tie pasta. I personally ate the bow tie pasta alone because it was that great. I typically order the fried shrimp platter which is my absolute favorite. The fried shrimp comes with a salad, side and hush puppies. The stuffed potato compliments the dish very well. This restaurant is great for any occasion. It has a chill vibe with fantastic food

The upstairs patio with bar was a great seating option. The heaters were turned on and the game was on the tv making the atmosphere great! Our appetizer was the boudin egg rolls and they were delicious. The pork chop was great as well, I'm glad they put the root beer glaze on the side because that had an odd flavor. The side stuff potato was yummy as well.

I really enjoyed everything from my drink to my entree. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as an app. It was delicious. I had the blackened salmon sandwich with a side salad. The bread was so fresh and soft. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The service was speedy and efficient. Nice friendly atmosphere that's family friendly.
