Chef Schonberg's Sweet's

The care and detail of what I wanted was surpassed. Chef is very informative about flavor combos and what people want. I've ordered a Hennessy Bundt pound cake from her and the balance was great and not over powering. I could only eat one slice at night because it's enough alcohol in it to keep you feeling great !!! I would recommend her and definitely order again !!

I recently celebrated my birthday and was surprised by my family with a cake and dipped strawberries from Chef Schonberg! Let me tell you something, I have found my baker in Baton Rouge. Firstly, the presentation was breathtaking. Secondly, the cake was moist and flavorful. I waited for about 3 days to actually cut the cake and it was still fresh and tasty. The service was amazing. The cake was delivered to me and the delivery person was so pleasant and patient trying to find my office. Last but certainly not least, it's Black owned! #BlackGirlMagicI HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BAKERY!

Chef Schonberg is phenomenal!! She is a class act! From the time you order to the time you pick-up or get your desserts delivered, it's professionalism all the way. I placed my order online and she got back to me with the total and I paid her via Venmo. My pick-up window was between 9:00-10:00am on a Saturday and she had it ready immediately for me. I ordered her cupcakes: strawberry lemonade, Oreo and chocolate raspberry. I also ordered chocolate-dipped items: pretzels and rice crispy treats. Everything was not only perfectly made aesthetically, but they were so scrumptious. I made sure to try a bit of all the desserts I ordered. Next time, I want to order her strawberry cake because I've seen it in photographs so many times, but I've never had a chance to order it for myself. She does make desserts with adults in mind, so please check out some of her boozy creations =) Order them for a bridal shower or bachelorette party... people will go crazy over them! I'm so used to dry, stale, and powdery cookies from work that I picked up one of these (naked) chocolate chip cookies ready to bite into something as hard as a stale baguette and stumbled over the first bite-- it was so soft! And the chocolate was amazing (I've bitten into a several chocolate chip cookies that tasted like tootsie rolls). My SO doesn't care for chocolate much, but even he was reaching for another cookie. ^o^ And the packaging (they deliver btw)! Everything was packed neatly! They cared about the items getting to me intact. This was a wonderful purchase. This will be our place for cookies from now on!

So I think I have a new favorite bakery. I purchased a dozen cupcakes for employee appreciation week at work and they were so delicious! This was my first time ordering from this bakery and I loved the experience. The owner was even so sweet as to send us a thank you card which me and my coworkers adored. The only thing I would change is I would add more vanilla cupcakes to the daily menu, it was hard to get a variety of both chocolate and vanilla because there were more chocolate than vanilla options. Also some of my coworkers are older so telling them the names of some of the cupcakes was funny but also a little embarrassing. Lol we all laughed it off though and the cakes were so great that the direction of the conversation would always immediately shift after they took their first bite.

Chef hooked me up with a beautiful cake for my daughter. I live in California and wanted to surprise my girl with something at her job, which is hard to do from such a distance. I'm so glad I found this business. The service was superb! The cake was beautiful and delivered same day!

Chef Schonberg is the absolute best baker in Baton Rouge! I love all of her treats and can't wait for my next order!
