Central City Steak & Seafood

Ordered, food is cold and some of the dressing orders are runny. Sat at the bar to get the food, server gave the food and walked away, no offering of a drink or anything. Owners walked by and asked us everything okay.. I said the food was cold and she kept walking. Owner says the person who will assist is on the phone... I honestly believe the baked potatoes were microwaved... they were kinda gummy.. Cool, finally got someone to reheat the food.I don't recommend, but try your luck, it may be better than mine ..still no drink orders taken.Overall, the food turned out great despite the initial service. The dressing was moist, spicy and full it flavor and lots of crawfish.. the catfish was catfishing...baby... it was on one. They did redeem themselves with the servic tho... but you shouldn't have to beg to spend your money.Lastly, grab a Summertime Daq...you won't stop at one, but be careful...it's sneaky

Had the grilled chicken and loaded potato. The chicken was flavorful and I was at work when I received the plate..my food got cold, but even with it being cold it was still delicious! I wish I could've have taken a picture, but when you're stomach is fussing like a toddler you gotta do what you gotta do . The food was enjoyable, I will order from here again.

We had lunch with a party of 6. We ordered boudin egg rolls to start and thought they were amazing. The gumbo was authentic and full of sausage, crab claws, and shrimp. The oysters were fried perfectly and were seasoned well. Everyone was pleased with their food and service was great.

We heard about "Steak night" and decided to try it out since we haven't been here in a few yrs. It was very good! Steak was tender and juicy also came topped with grilled shrimp also w/potatoes, garlic bread and a salad. Service/staff were friendly & efficient. Of course we just had to get the brownie hot fudge alamode for dessert that surly topped off our date night!! Thanks to all !

I had ordered "to go" from them once while we were in the process of moving back to the Central area. I ordered the Fettucine Alfredo with grilled chicken and a Caesar Salad. Both are huge, so we were able to split it between us for a good sized meal. It was cooked very well and everything tasted excellent. We would order it again.We decided to eat in last weekend, because we were both in the mood for steak. We both ordered the Ribeye. We got different sides. I got the baked potato. Our steaks were juicy and cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly and attentive. The decor is nice, and the restaurant is clean. The servings were again huge, and we will probably split a steak next time because it was more than we were able to eat.We will definitely be back and recommend you check them out if you are in the area!

Excellent food served hot and promptly. Our server worked hard and made sure all our needs were met. All tables, as far as I could tell, had a good view of TVs all around. Many curious and antique items everywhere almost like a old fashioned country store (nothing for sale, just decor)

The service was great.There are multiple TVs.The atmosphere was relaxed.The prices were reasonable.The food was delicious.We had the fried onion,fried cheese curds,I had the ribeye and my husband had the seafood fettucine.Everything was so good.The side salad was definitely way above average.The salad was made of a selection of various greens rather than just iceberg. We definitely will be going back.They have so much to choose from including pizza,shakes,poboys,shakes and malts.

This was my second time patronizing this restaurant. This time only because it was a business dinner. I will say each African American person in our party that walked in was stared at, and I mean folks stopped and stared. I felt like I was interrupting a Klan meeting. I have friends and family of all races, and I have never felt so uncomfortable. The waitress was nice but overwhelmed. The manager/owner did apologize to the Caucasian folks sitting at the table with us 'only' for the wait time. I wouldn't advise anyone who is not Caucasian to patronize this restarting as we are not wanted.

SLOW service even when we were the only ones there. Food was mediocre. Over priced. Do not think we will be back.

The food and the service have always been great! I love the variety and the casual atmosphere!
