My favorite theatre! Comfy seats, great sound system, great deals on certain nights, yummy snacks and drinks sold here, and a super fun arcade! Been here with kids and just adults and always had a blast! Only theatre in south BR, so I'm super thankful it's here!

I went last night with some friends. I didn't get any food so I can't comment on that, but a friend got nachos that came with a LOT of cheese. The layout was different than a chain theater, and I quite liked the change. The tickets for the movie I watched were only $10 on the second night of release. The seats were quite nice, not only reclining but also came with a swivel tray and cup holder.

Simply put, this theater is awesome. From top to bottom, this renovated space has slowly turned into the best movie experience in all of Baton Rouge. I can't begin to express how much I enjoy coming here, to put it mildly, I would watch every film here if I could.First and foremost, this place is spotless. It's possible that I was just lucky every time, but the theaters I'm used to going to have stains in the carpets, puddles in the bathrooms, and random food spills in the theaters themselves. Not here. Everything has that fresh and new feeling, which certainly does not hurt.This is a place for everyone. There is a pretty impressive arcade for gamers, a small cordoned off area for the drinkers, and plenty of parking. The staff is young but professional, unlike the many lackadaisical teens who typically work in places like this. Tickets aren't insanely expensive and they have a fountain soda machine (self serve!) and even have cheetos flavored popcorn. (#1)The screens are an especially impressive space. An endless array of comfortable leather seats with recline ability and a mini table rest line up the place. And of course, the sound system and picture quality is outstanding for the ideal theater experience.No mistake about it, this is a 5 star establishment. I hope the patrons and the staff treat it well, it would be a shame to see it worn down from abuse. I'm already looking forward to my next visit._____________(#1) Merely a bonus. A unique bonus.

Clean and seats were comfy! Was not overpriced! Make sure to bring extra cash as they also have an arcade in there. Would recommend this movie theater!

I've been living in Shenedoah for the last 15 years.... when it was still the Grand Cinema. I liked it then, and I effing LOOOOOVE it now, even more than I enjoyed it before the renovations. I love bringing my children to the theatre, especially on half priced arcade play, or on a Tuesday for booze and ticket specials. (They have a fricken whiskey slushy machine, helloooooooo!) A little birdie told me that they plan to expand the theatre into an entertainment center, adding in a bowling alley and restaurant, etc. I'm super excited to see Shenedoah/Lake at White Oaks area of town have a premier entertainment center and community theatre. Their arcade is SO FUN and I honestly like their arcade better than other theatres and quarters since it's more fun for both adults and children in my opinion. (The popcorn is better too, they even have Cheetos popcorn) The manger and staff are SOOOO hospitable and incredibly educational - I got to learn all about their Dolby complete interactive sound system compared to other local theatres (and how Hollywood ticket sales works) and I will forever be loyal to Celebrity Theatres for their hospitality!I've been coming to Celebrity loyally on every holiday as a day date with my siblings and it's a tradition e slays look forward to. The staff has NEVER EVER been rude or on a bad mood, and had always been super sweet and accommodating, and suggestive when asked questions on their opinions about current films showing. Good god I love this business, and every time I end up going to AMC or Cinemark, I end up disappointed compared to both customer service and sound quality.Great job, Celebrity Theatres. Keep making Baton Rouge proud!

My favorite theatre!!!State Of The Art Sound You Can Feel !The seats are super comfortable. This theatre is smaller than some so easier to get around in and you don't t have to park a mile away! The snack bar is fabulous and the arcade area's are awesome and huge.

Celebrity theaters has consistently offered: plenty of parking, great customer service, and a phenomenal movie experience (big, reclining seats!) And on Tuesdays, all movies are $5! If you're here for the arcade games, theres enough to keep you entertained for 1/1.5 hrs or so and management maintains them regularly. This location is far from me but I always make the drive here almost weekly because of how pleasant it is to be here. I highly recommend it.

While this may still be Baton Rouge's smallest movie location it certainly is as modern as all of the larger locations with its reserved seating, larger/comfortable seating and selling of alcohol. With that I guess this is a hidden and quality gem for the Shenandoah --Jones creek area subdivisions. Along with its recent upgrades, there have been upgrades to the concession area, bathroom area and to the video/arcade games offered to the visiting public.This is written in December, 2017, and this location is also expanding to eventually offer more than movies in an effort to be more than just a movie theater---looking forward to it.

My husband and I were just passing time waiting on a friend so we dropped in at Celebrity Theatres to play a few games. Midway through our Zombie game after swiping to add more money, the lights were cut off on us. I have a screen shot of the time it says they were suppose to close, which we double checked before going in yet no one informed us they were closing early. There was a guy locking a door, but we assumed they were just locking one side early and some stores like walmart do at a certain time. We have money left on the card that we will go back tomorrow and spend while we make our final visit to file an official grievance. I've never been so disrespected in a business ever before.

Such a cute (small) movie theater... the ticket prices are good - cheaper to buy in person vs online. The service was great! They have a few games/mini arcade and they serve some adult drinks too. Concession food prices are typical of any movie theater. The seats are comfy and they recline. There are only maybe 6 rows of seats so it's intimate and feels kinda luxe. They showed an LSU game before so hopefully they'll start showing some NFL games (maybe they do but I'm new to BR).
