What a great little spot. One of the best burgers in Terrebonne parish. And my wife had the fried chicken which was juicy crispy and fresh. We also had the onion rings which were absolutely perfectly double coated and fried to perfection. This spot is DEFINABLE worth the 15 minutes drive from Houma to Dulac. Great local mom and pop place.

Cheeseburger is great! Everybody goes for the fresh fried chicken; it smells good and looks golden and crunchy.Huge menu, desserts, ice cream, bayou side view. Will be back again!

It always feel good to go home, but it feels even better on a full belly. When I left to stay out of town after college, coming home, has always been the ultimate experience with the cultural blessing of the food that we have historically capitalized on in this small town with Cajun cuisine cooked to its perfection,with the perfect location. This is a must go for a family adventure.

If you live in the area you need to be sure to stop by. And if you don't, well, it's worth the trip. It's a hole in the wall vibe in Dulac, Louisiana. But it's worth a stop. The menu is on the wall above the register in those plastic letters. It's a bit overwhelming because there is so much to pick from. I've been back for the shrimp poboy several times and often tell people it's the best I've had. The shrimp are so fresh and fries perfectly. The sandwich is dressed just right. Onion rings are a hit here and when I went today the small was HUGE! They came in a regular round paper plates and it was overflowing. They are not shoestring but not super thick either. Just perfect and crispy. I've also had the roast beef poboy, which was delicious. The roast beef was sliced, which I love. And covered in gravy (several napkins or a roll of paper towels needed). I also hear people rave about the burgers and fried chicken but I haven't been able to veer from the shrimp often enough to try them. I'll have to work on that soon.

Business as usual it would seem when it comes to COVID. Staff is not wearing masks, gloves. No enforcement of masks or social distancing. Staff was not pleasant. Seemed bothered we placed an order. Could have been a bad day, could be business as usual.During this trip we tried the cheeseburger. Catfish po boy and Oreo milkshake. I can say without a doubt the milkshake was one of the best ones I've had. The burger was delicious and great portion. The po boy was also very good with fresh fish. I would likely come back, just based on food alone but only after covid is a thing of the past. They do not seem to care about it.

A bayouside gem with legit onion rings and awesome fried chicken! Definitely the best fried chicken in the Houma area, worth the drive! There's also a huge gator statue by the bayou that's fun for kids to climb on and get a cool pic.

Food is always fresh & the staff is always friendly. We drive over 20 miles from Montegut to eat here.They have a huge menu so there is something for everyone. We haven't ever gotten anything we didn't like. They have alot of fried items but one thing I like is we haven't ever gotten food that tasted like old oil. Which as you know, can ruin just about anything.I'm not a huge fan of the cole slaw personally but my wife likes it.If you have room after filling up, get you a shake. I love their chocolate shakes!

Great food and friendly people make a great weekend for me. Looking forward to your reopening and those hamburger steaks.

A Hidden gem tucked away along Bayou Grand Caillou near Dulac, La. This place has been serving great food with a pleasant atmosphere for over 47 years. About a 15 minute drive from the East Side of Houma but well worth the trip. Excellent fried chicken, hamburger steaks, burgers, seafood and you have to try the single dipped or double dipped onion rings. A must try restaurant and I'm sure you won't regret it.
