This place has the worst crawfish I have ever eaten. I think they use mud for seasoning. Even the potatoes taste like mud

I was very disappointed in the food. Got the shrimp plate and it tasted like it was cooked in old oil. And the batter on the shrimp was way to thick and tasted burnt. Had food from there before and was good. Just couldn't eat what we bought tonight.

Great service, great food! We decided to visit today, the first Friday of Lent, for some seafood for dinner. I placed my to go order quickly, and waited there for it. Not a long wait at all, and just long enough for me to check the items in the freezer, and see the large, crawfish they were putting out that were freshly boiled and hot. At home we opened the boxes and bowls and the servings are largish, and the food was very fresh. The crawfish etouffee is simply delicious! I will be returning, for dinners, and crawfish, and the next time I think I will bring home the frozen crawfish stuffed bell peppers in the freezer, they looked very good! There are a few tables, and bar stools for dining in as well. Prices are average, and all the food was well worth it. We will be back!

I am a poboy junkie, and having this place right on the corner of my neighborhood is a dream come true. The variety is substantial, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. Their product quality is as uniform as it is excellent. They fully dressed my sandwich instead of preparing it as I had asked once, but that was so minor I didn't see the need to call back about it. Seeing as I have ordered from them many times at the time of this writing and that was the only mistake they ever made, I'm giving them a well deserved 5 stars.

Slamming food with Slamming service! The seafood is off the chain if your a fan. I recommend the Boudin balls and crawfish poboy.

Some of the best fried seafood and boudin balls around, and cheaper than everybody else too. The etoufee was really good, but the fried fish and shrimp just so so, about what you get anywhere. The service is kinda slow, so call in first if you want to pick up or you'll be waiting a while.

Been several times and noticed when Mr Carl is there the fish plates are good but when he's not, they are skimpy and not very good. Run by young people and they don't seem to care. Probably won't be eating there very often anymore. Plates expensive and don't feel it's worth the money...sorry . Plus, was driving a long way just to get good fish plates.

Whoever is cooking the crawfish needs to stop, normally they're good from here but yesterday i paid $30 for 4 pounds and the crawfish tasted like dust from an old persons house, threw all of them in the trash after only eating about 10 of them. 10/10 the absolute worst crawfish i've ever eaten, horrible. Find a new cook.

I thought certain things were made to order, but I guess not my stuffed bread was very cold and the chicken gumbo I received was as well. The crawfish were okay not what everyone else say they are. The lady that answered the phone seem pretty nice rather than dealing with the cocky rude workers. Much rather have not wasted money on the food if it wasn't worth it or fresh.

Grilled chicken poboy turned out to be a fried chicken poboy. Chicken fried to the point of being so dry you almost have to dip it in water to eat it. I was hoping for grilled for calorie reasons but decided to eat it anyway. Sad that I could have had Canes or something good. Top 5 most disappointing lunches.
