Ambiance: Came here on a weekend and was surprised to see a cocktail bar closing at 10pm every night. They have a small but enjoyable list of cocktails featuring bright and tropical flavors. The bar tenders were friendly and our drinks came out in a timely fashion.Drinks: Despite all the tropical flavors, the cocktails were well-balanced and skewed on the side of being alcohol-forward. Nothing was cloyingly sweet or too froufrou despite how it looked the menu. We had a few cocktails but the Which Ube U Be was the crowd favorite since the ube root added a nice creamy sweetness you don't often see in a cocktail and we felt it was the one we'd have a hard time finding at any other bar.Overall this place is a solid banger for cocktails. The drinks are fun, creative, and not overly expensive. My only wish was that this place stayed open later so we could stay here longer. Will stop back the next time i'm in town to try the food!

Definitely more of a bar place for drinks vs. restaurant for food although they do have a wide selection of food items as well (they've been voted to have the best cocktails in all of Nola multiple times!) cocktails were very strong - none of that "wait did they accidentally serve me the mocktail version?" and blend of flavors were so unique! Not big drinks people though so idk what else to say lol Food! Plating was so beautiful but food was just ok - nothing special I did think a couple items that we ordered were too greasy esp the seasonal mushroom toast which we couldn't even finish because it was just way too heavy (think cream cheese on olive oil soaked bread with garlic butter mushrooms - fat on fat on fat u know?) The plantains were also too charred (esp for us Asians ) but it was low key all burnt...IG: Spillingthe.table

Excellent service, very good food served quickly and with a friendly attitude. 20% service gratuity disclosed up-front, which is the way it should be done. Server made excellent suggestions, kept us watered, heard and immediately rushed over a fork when we dropped one (despite the restaurant being fairly noisy at the time). Cocktail: their take on a hurricane. Good, but not remarkable.Appetizers: crispy Brussels sprouts were more crunchy than crispy... much firmer and less roasted than expected, but still very tasty with a nice sauce and very generous portions. Heirloom tomatoes with onion, avocado and heart of palm were a nice contrast to the Brussels sprouts.Mains: Fried drum over jasmine rice and a tomatoey, medium heat curry sauce was well prepared. Could've used a vegetable like bell pepper, but was tasty. Coulotte steak was perfectly trimmed and seasoned, extremely flavorful (rivaling a good hanger steak) and exactly the requested temperature. Dessert: flan was thick, a little cheesecakey, and sprinkled with a little finishing salt -- an excellent addition I had never encountered before, giving it a salted caramel bite. Superb.Highly recommended.

A bit over priced for what you get. The food was just ok. Brussels sprouts were the best thing we had. The arroz con pollo although tasty was not the traditional one (it literally rice with chicken pieces on top). And the fish curry was kind of bland. This place does not have any hot drinks (not even hot water). Place was quiet inside but I think there's better spots to dine in the area. Plus there's an up front 20% service fee.

I ordered the ribs, and they were so soaked in vinegar that they were not palatable. There was slaw on top that was vinegar based, but the ribs also had vinegar added. Another person in our party decided to try them. When we talked to the server about them, we were told they were inspired by Carolina style sauces. When we said that it was too much, we were kinda blown off. The Fish Rundown was good. ZARZUELA DE MARISCOS was also good. Overall it was good, not great. Too many really great choices in NOLA for mediocrity.

What a great option while in the French Quarter. Luckily we made a reservation since it was pretty busy, even for a week night, and the staff was great. They have a lot of fun local options on the menu and extensive drink options as well. The server was great at answering our questions and giving us suggestions. We tried a handful of different things and all of it was great. They have a nice outdoor space but it was a little hot for us so we sat inside and it was dark with candlelights, definitely a cool space but a little loud.

Man oh man, this is my stop in upon arrival in NOLA. The fish and grits were astounding. Upon arrival the vibe was on, music and vibe was A+ Once I sat to dine and had my first bite I understood the confidence I felt walking in. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable, he had the perfect amount of chatter and really charmed our table. From the bar I had 2 drinks off the menu, the hurricane and another I can't remember the name of but it was based on African diasporic flavors and was delicious! Stop in.

We came for drinks at the beginning of our trip as we were making our way through the French Quarter and ended up coming back two days later for snacks on their lunch menu (and more drinks). We got the best service and cleanest seating here out of our entire trip (and you know how hard it is to keep bars from getting too sticky during big travel seasons!)
