Apparently I love food for the body as well as food for the soul. And Canal Street Church will feed your soul like none other. One of the most diverse communities in NOLA I believe this congregation truly runs the gambit of ethnicities, ages, interest, you name it.Pastor Page Brook has such an amazing way with people as well as with the Gospel. You will leave here knowing that you have had your Spirit fed that day.Early and late services for your schedule needs.Even on the streetcar line if you are without any wheels, 2 or 4.Music is so, so, so AWESOME! And they genuinely love the community. For the Spanish Speakers out there, they also have a Spanish speaking congregation, so yes.Se Habla Español.Looking for a Church, check out Canal Street, a Mosaic Community Church..Hey, not to leave this out, but Communion is served every Sunday, so if you haven't had that in a long NOLA minute, lease check them out.Look me up when you get there, I'd love the chance to talk to you..

As a newbie to New Orleans I had to go to pretty much every church in the city until I found a fit for my family. This church was in the top three that we considered joining. We loved the split of an early and late service as we travel a lot and sometime work Saturday nights. The preaching was pretty good, it is a diverse and welcoming church of about 50-60 people in the service. They have open communion and a children's ministry during the preaching section. The music is decent but not that polished some of the songs you can hear on Lifesongs but some were unfamiliar and more folksy hymny. I love the way the end service and think it is a solid option for someone who prefers solid bible based teaching in a comfortable relaxed open environment.
