It's a good burger spot on Canal street for a late night burger. Limited seating outside. The burger tastes good with its burger sauce. The service is decently quick given how many people order on this busy street. Overall a good burger spot for a burger fix or hunger fix late at night. Easy to find. Close to hotels if staying near Canal.

This place is located on the Marriott hotel, the ordering sustem is a little weird and there's no seating area except 2 tables outside on the street. The burger was ok, nothing really mind blowing, the sesame add a great flavor to the bun and the burger, the onion rings were delish and the quantity was generous.

The food was good. We got burgers, chicken sandwich, fries and onion rings. The fries were mid. The onion rings were good. The sandwiches were as expected. They were not spectacular but tasted good. You order on a pad up front and choose all your options. Don't let the initial prices make you feel like it's cheaper than other spots. It's not. Those prices are ONLY for the sandwich. You add the other stuff after. Haha Also the burger sauce on the side is clutchAfter ordering you move up, pay and wait. There is no where to sit inside. That place is about 200 sq ft total. You wait outside. However they are connected to the Marriot and you can eat in the lobby.

Burger Bar is located on Canal Street next to the Marriott Hotel. Let's jump right into this review. Disclaimer - despite an upsetting and disappointing experience, I will still give an honest review about my overall experience. What did I order (I didn't eat it) - 1. Cheeseburger w/Fries and drink - $15Pros1. Located right next door to the Marriott; it's convenient to get to if you are staying at the Marriott. Cons 1. No indoor seating. Only outdoor. 2. Roach found in my napkin when I took my food out of the bag. Surprise! See photo. I don't know how the food tastes because the roach inside the napkin meant everything went to the trash. Unfortunately, I was dealing with an injury, which is why I picked up food right next to my hotel, and I didn't have the strength to go back down and show/complain. My appetite was gone. Period. My initial contact with employees wasn't pleasant. I placed my order using the kiosk and moved to an open space to wait for my food. The other employees present didn't state I was in an employee area. C'mon, on now. Inform your customers. I was asked to move to the other side (I got the ma'am side eye) - but what other side. Inside is small, no waiting room. You have two kiosks to order and the door to enter. It's definitely an awkward space. I moved to the side of the kiosks and waited. As more people enter, the space becomes crowded to move around. I noticed one employee pushed a counter out from the side to separate the employee side from where customers need to be. I can respect boundaries when I know they exist. When my food was ready, the interaction turned pleasant. The employee was very nice, smiled, and even her tone changed - southern hospitality came out. I do appreciate the customer service when I received my food. Little did I know I was traveling with a crawling creature back to my hotel room. I don't recommend Burger Bar. Definitely check your food before you leave. Stay out the employee area, keep to the right of the cashier. Welcome to New Orleans!

I can't speak on the decor or ambience of this location, I can say the food, service and price point were deserving of five stars. While visiting NOLA and staying at the Canal Street Sheraton, we needed to grab a bite to eat that was close by. This Burger Bar (BB) is housed right next to the Marriott that is across the street from the Sheraton. Our order consisted of two fried chicken tenders combos and one bacon cheeseburger combo. My mom, like me is not a fan of ordering via the kiosk. We both prefer the extra bit of human contact that comes with person-to-person ordering. But, in this case, one of the BB employees offered to assist my mom at the kiosk. I appreciated this because if your order has any special requests, it can be tricky capturing using the kiosk. I heard the interaction via my mom's phone (we were on FaceTime). They were very helpful and walked her through placing her special request. When she arrived to the room with our order, everything was fresh, hot, and well prepared. Our bag included napkins, utensils, condiments, etc.The tenders were crispy and well seasoned. The fries were done properly. The bacon on my burger was cooked just right...along with the burger. Since it is supposed to rain the entire week we are here in NOLA, I am sure we will return. If you find yourself in a similar predicament, or if you just want some good quick food, don't think twice about visiting this BB location. Happy eating!

The cashier was less than friendly and borderline rude. The burger itself was very good. Sloppily put together and not much flavor. Was hoping for a 5guys/Habit type of burger but it was not. Not completely inedible but you could definitely find something better.

Fine fast food. We ordered our food at the kiosk right outside the Marriott hotel, a few minutes later our personalized burgers were up. Hot, cheesy and well done. This was perfect. We were hungry after a long walk, Mardi Gras parade was in session, so this was the perfect grab and go lunch.

I ate at Canal Street Burger Bar twice during my stay at the adjacent Marriott--once ordering through in room dining and once in the storefront. I got the Impossible Burger both times. Ordering through room service yielded better cheese that doesn't seem available when ordering in person. The downside is it costs $10-12 more to have someone bring it up. Ordering in store happens at machines, then you pay at a register, and wait crammed into a corner. It's a phenomenally poorly designed space but I'm cheap so it was worth it. The burger was great both times and I loved the crinkle fries. Canal Street Burger Bar is great for a quick lunch.

Avoid. Took 28 minutes to get sloppy looking burgers that were worse than McDonald's. The onion rings were burnt to a crisp and they forgot to put in cookies I paid for. This place is awful.
