Cajun Style Swamp Tours

One of the highlights of our trip! It was my partner's first time in LA and we figured we should get the crazy stuff out of the way before little kiddos. This was SO much fun! Our tour guide let us hold his baby gator "fluffy" and knew SO much about the history of the area. An ex oil-field worker, I felt a bond (and respect) immediately as someone who's worked in the industry. We LOVED it. Will be back!

First time in Louisiana and we were told to try out a swamp tour. We booked a ride and Captain Ernie was our tour guide. We saw a ton of gators and Captain Ernie was great at explaining the history and giving us info on the gators. He even let us hold a live baby gator!!

Great tour. Learned a lot about the swamp and alligators of course. Ernie, the guide was great. I would highly recommend this tour. Definitely a New Orleans highlight.

Amazing tour! Accommodate our whole group of 50 plus people. Not only the experience of something new, but the knowledge Captain Ernie was able to give us! Incredible time and I will back when he said the best time is in May!!Thanks again Captain Ernie!!

Such a great tour! I can't remember our tour guides name, if I'm not mistaken it was Carmon. He was so informative yet funny! I highly recommend this tour! Now I have to plan another trip to bring my daughter!

Four stars, but mainly because the ticket window lady was a little rude. Our captain was great! I'm sure they get plenty of tourists that are unfamiliar to the area, so when booking it would be nice for them to state consider renting a car to get out here or arranging some kind of transportation. When we were dropped off by our Uber, we walked up to the window and the attendant rudely said, "I was trying to tell you to tell her to come back in two hours to pick you guys up. It's very hard to get an Uber or Lyft out here." Umm, no you didn't try to tell us that, because you have been holed up in here, I didn't see you come out and wave or anything, so there is that. Secondly, it's a ride share, not even I would drive back in two hours to pick someone up, let's be real here.The airboat ride was good, we did it on New Years Day, which was cold and of course didn't see an alligator, except for a baby alligators eyes and head (that I couldn't see, it camouflaged well in the mud) that everyone else saw, and two or three other animals and of course we saw birds. Definitely can't wait to come back to the area, and will do another swamp tour, most likely with a different company, when it is expected for more reptiles to be seen. Our captain was pretty funny and had a great sense of humor, despite being cold and miserable, the good laugh was appreciated.

Captain Ernie was amazing! He was very nice, funny, and knowledgeable. We got to see gators up close and got to hold one as well.

Brad the tour guide was cool as shit!! Very informative, knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Saw lots of gators and birds. He fed the gators marshmallows and we were able to touch them. Please make sure to bring extra money for a tip he deserves it.

#pissed Booked a tour for my bachelorette party and they GHOSTED us. Kept in good contact until the day of. Kept pushing back the time of pick up then never showed. Ignored our calls and were never offered a refund. We will be reporting the business for fraud and breach of our contract.

Took our trip June 15th 2021. Amazing experience. We did the small fast boat tour. Our guide was Rocky and he was awesome! We found tons of gators, even "Big Head". We didn't expect a 2 hour drenching ride, but it was super fun. Hot day, so we enjoyed being cooled off. My 5th trip to New Orleans and could never get anyone to go on a swamp tour with me. Finally did it! And it's the funnest thing I've ever done here!
