Service was fast. I only waited about 5 minutes for my Po Boy. It was a huge sandwich, about the size of a Burger King Whopper in the 90s, back when it was actually big enough to be referred to as a Whopper. The place also has a lot of stuff, and is organized like the convenience store.

This 'Cajun' was formerly called Rachel's & some of us STILL refer to it as such... the name change isn't seeming to stick. So for this review, Rachel's it is. Inside: Quick booze. Super Spicy Seafood. Snacks.Outside: Purses. DVDS. CDS. Tennis shoes & the like. I don't frequent Rachel's very much because the ONE thing I would reallllly go for is the crawfish, when in season, but they're way too spicy, even for me. Visiting on this time was my uncle's idea & YEA he got his crawfish fix, but they weren't LOUISIANA crawfish, soooooo, yea, that was a waste of time, to me, the self crowned crawfish aficionado!!!! You want a quick bottle, stop in... You want good crawfish, keep it movin.

Had an Airbnb around the corner so this was the first and fastest dinner to grab. Looks like a shack and it is. But the seafood is awesome - boy is it spicy if you pick it out of the buckets marinating. But do it. The fried stuff on the menu and platters was like anything else you would get. The best part was the seafood in the red spicy sauce - crawfish particularly. My city kids were begging to go there every night just for those - and they sold out the second night! Definitely a local place, we took pictures as the "white people" visiting and got some funny looks - but overall a great find and super local yummy food !

This place is fantastic. This local series of take out parlors is exactly what a northerner has to check out. The hot Cajun boils are just so out of this world for me. These shrimps, crawfish, pig feet, turkey necks and sauteed crab have the roots in southern but with the freaking zest in these creole spices. Fantastic. Bit of warning though: if you go in there snapping pictures the locals will look at you like you are the cops or are fucking crazy. Not exactly hip to the social media shit and not worth explaining.

Incredible! Everything we had was excellent and all of the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. The portions were great and the food awesome. The shrimp sub was outstanding, as was everything else. I was in the restaurant business for 20+ years and I was very impressed with the set-up. Everything was fresh, and right in front of you. GREAT Job.
